How Does One Find a Good Neurologist?
I think that I may have been unlucky in my choice of neurologists. The last one that I saw told me that he sees thousands of patients. He said that I should be optimistic, and that I should trust him, but he didn't respond to messages that I left on his portal. My current neurologist prescribed

Risks Associated w/Too Many Medications
I'm currently taking 8 medications for which there are no listed drug interaction effects, but I can't help but wonder whether doctors and pharmacists actually know what happens when so many medications are taken. Currently, I'm on: Carbodopa/Levidopa Rasigiline Nurianz Bupropion Gabapentin Quetiapine

Low dose Naltrexone
Those taking LDN: how quickly did you increase your dose? Can you go from 0 to 4.5mg in 3 weeks?

Treatment for high TSH with high T4
My TSH is too high, but my t4 is also above the normal range. My ft3 is below the normal range. Has anyone in this situation been treated with low dose naltrexone?

LDN: low dose naltrexone
I have Hashimoto according to my endocrinologist with slightly elevated antibodies (although GP is not convinced). I Have now TSH around 2 on 75mg levothyroxine. I am doing IVF and had multiple miscarriage which could have been related to TSH above 5 at the time (2 years ago, before starting levothyroxine

ULTRASOUND RESULTS - THERE IS A NODULE WHICH IS PAINFUL - CAN ANYONE HELP?
Hello everyone Apologies at the outset because this is long but I am very worried and would be very grateful to anyone who reads this and can advise me. I had an ultrasound scan of my thyroid gland last Tuesday. My thyroid antibodies have never been out of range - my last test in March this year

Hashimoto's and LDN
Hi, I have read that Low Dose Naltrexone is a good treatment for LDN, but that it is controversial and it is difficult to get a prescription in the UK. Does anyone have nay experience of getting this drug, are GPs hostile, or open to try it ? Thanks John

Hey everyone, new here! Thankful I found this app for support. I’ve recently been prescribed Naltrexone for my alcohol addiction, to help with cravings. I’m just wondering if anyone has had any success with it? Thank you!

Anybody try LDN?
I was wondering if anyone has tried low dose naltrexone (LDN) for their PMR? My Functional Medicine GP has said that she has successfully treated many of her patients with a variety of conditions using this medication at very low doses. I am sure my Rheumatologist would not agree to prescribing since

Been a while....
Hey lovely people! So I ended up getting sick with COVID19. Sick as a dog for about 6 weeks. Thankfully, came out of it thanks to the love my family showed me and supported me through it. Yoga, meditation and breathing exercises helped me get through the breathing issues, and now, I’m back to school

Bupropion - has anyone had success on this for ADHD?
After failed trials on methylphenidate (worked wonders for three months, now my tolerance is insanely high), Vyvanse and Atomoxetine, my doctor is now seeing how I fare on bupropion/Wellbutrin. It’s to be taken in combination with Guanfacine, which has been great for sensory overload but terrible for

Scared of meds
I'm scared of bupropion. I can't bring myself to buy the thing and take it. Although I already take paroxetin (antidepressant), I always had an irrational fear of medications and foods have to "earn my trust" little at a time before being included in my diet. But this, this is worse. I'm terrified, I've
