Has anyone tried or researched low dose naltrexone for pain symptoms? From what I’ve read is it works like opioids. I’ve tried opioids once and didn’t seem to help. Just wondered if it may work a little different also. Shows that it helps with MS and neuropathy so possible. The last increase in Gabapentin is keeping me drowsy, but helps the pain more.

I'd be interested since I never heard of this in all the years coping with neuro pain.
I wish you pain relief. (Min-102 may be helping me because I'm not getting that continual intense pain.)
I've been taking it for years. Admittedly, off and on.
To read online reports, it's a panacea for all ills. A lot a MS patients take LDN. Likely few of us do.
My doctor prescribed it along with Metanx for neuropathic pain. It reduced the discomfort, but I wouldn't say you could use it to replace actual pain medication. I also do B12 injections so it is believed that the combination of all 3 work in harmony. I am a believer of trying anything unless it has adverse reactions, and these do not in my case at any rate. Metanx is a prescription B supplement most widely used for diabetic neuropathy. Hope this helps.
