Mycophenolate and alcohol.
Just started on
Mycophenolate
5 weeks ago. Went out to celebrate my birthday last night and had 2 and a half glasses of champagne. Got home, took my nighttime drugs and couldn’t sleep all night feeling nauseous. Feeling nauseous and quite yuck Today. Any advice on how to treat would be appreciated!

Newly diagnosed
They gave me a steroid injection and prescribed
mycophenolate
which I have been taking for three weeks. I wondered how others who have been prescribed this drug are progressing and how long before the benefits are felt. When diagnosed I initially felt relief that I was finally getting some help.

Mycophenolate Mofetil (MMF) - How is it for you ?
I have been on
Mycophenolate
Mofetil (MMF) since Feb 2016 at a dosage of 2 times 500 mg's per day, and it has kept my platelet count steady at around 100 to 170. I do not take any other medication.

Anyone with pure membranous (lupus nephritis Type 5)?
I will be going on cellcept(

Prednisone/corticosteroids
Hello. Anyone reading this who had a kidney transplant and is NOT taking prednisone or other corticosteroids as part of their anti-rejection meds? I've been hearing/reading about the possibility of going steroid-free and I'm considering raising the possibility with my doctor. (I currently take tacrolimus

Mycophenolate motofil generic...
... I started mmf a month ago and was given a generic myco rather than cellcept, but it did have a brand name starting with "m" . When I got my new prescription yesterday I took it to a different pharmacist to be filled and was given a different generic - this one had no brand name at all. Last night

Breathing mask to help prevent infection
Two years ago I was diagnosed with fibrotic NSIP and take immuno depressant medication (
Mycophenolate
mofetil) . This leaves me very vulnerable to infections and so I avoid crowds and air conditioned buildings, planes, trains etc.

Has anyone experienced slowly developing back/pelvis pain as side-effect of Mycophenolate?
However, last night I stumbled upon a couple in depth articles on side-effects of
Mycophenolate
and found that back pain is on the list. This wasn't totally convincing until I found that pelvic pain is also on the list and that both are delayed symptoms.
