Hi everyone I’ve had scleroderma since 2016 after cyclophosphamide I went on mycophenolate .I’m just wondering what causes all the pain and is there anything I can do about it . It’s mostly muscle and joint pain.Ive reduced prednisolone from 20mg to 5mg daily and reduced tramadol from 8 a day to 1 very gradually under consultants instructions .Blood tests show inflammation is right down .Im just after any ideas what may help .thanks for reading and look forward to replies

Hi Simon. I too was diagnosed in 2016. I've had the cyclophosphamide infusions and I'm also on mycophenalate I've also got the intense pains all over. I've tried the morphine patches and injections but admit they didn't help. My consultant feels it could be fibro myalgia as they have no other answers. All I've been able to do is take co-codomol tablets and anadin extra, it does not take the pain away but it does ease. If you discover what it is it would be cool if you could let me know. In the mean time, stay strong.
Thanks for the reply , I’m not due to see the consultant for a while . I’ll ask them what they think when I go . I think it’s either the steroid reduction or coming off painkillers
