Lyrica?
I wrote a post recently about my severe rls. I visited my gp today and she wanted me to try this drug called lyrica (or pregabalin). I'm very anxious about trying this new medication (to me, it's always scary trying new drugs!). I'm hoping to hear if it has helped others with rls and fibromyalgia (for

Anyone tried CBD Cannabis Oil for RLS
Having come off all drugs for RLS 8 months ago due to augmentation, I am now struggling on with only codeine for the times I am at my wits end. As it is supposed to be addictive I try to take it every other night just to get a couple of hours rest. Just recently someone suggested CBD Cannabis oil and

Normal for period to be late on Synarel?
Hello, I’m currently down regulating with Synarel for my first IVF cycle. Only side effects so far are heavy-feeling, tender breasts. I have my down regulation scan a week today but there is no sign of my withdrawal bleed yet. I’m currently on day 34 of my cycle, which is normally around 30 days. Is

EDS now has lots of huge online communities, so why are drs and nurses still not spotting and understanding it?
I am on 3 Facebook forums for EDS sufferers (I like EDS UK best), plus Inspire.com and here. I am amazed at how it has grown in the last four years. But still, we are having to educate the doctors, nurses, midwives and physios we see every day. I just don't get it. I cannot post any of the really depressing

Amphetamine for methadone withdrawal???
What's working for me is dextroamphetamine. I've tried Gabapentin for RLS at 1000mg nightly and I have been going through hell. Was on methadone 160mg daily for 16 years for opiate addiction I got when I had cancer surgery. Over one year tapered to 25mg methadone daily then quit cold turkey. I was desperate

Useful inventions for PMR sufferers😀
I had intended to reflect on my recent experience of visiting the US but I'm far too jet lagged still so I thought I'd like to try to make a list of inventions I'd like to see (not to be taken too seriously!) 1. The first would be an energy monitor like my phone has. It would show how much energy I have
