Hi, I don’t want to bore you with my life story so I’ll try and keep to the present. I’m in the middle of treatment with clomid. Given three months worth and I have taken the first two with no success. I am now on cycle day 85 and have my hospital appointment in 15 days.
I didn’t track my cycles before ttc, but for at least the last 6 years I have never had such a long cycle, I was only diagnosed with pco in June last year following a miscarriage, and I don’t know why I am suddenly experiencing this, especially being on clomid and having a positive opk on cd13.
I guess I’m looking to see if anyone else has experienced this or guidance on what could be going on.
Thank you

I am very sorry to hear your story, also about the miscarriage. At which clinic are you? I am on my 4th (or is it the 5th already, I cannot remember) clomid cycle and it also does not work for me. I simply dont ovulate (I was just prescribed 4 more cycles, I dont see the point in it).
However, is your cycle tracked by blood/urine samples? I have to give samples every week to track my hormones and usually they find out latest by cycle day 35 that it did not work and then I am given progesterone immediately, to start a new cycle. I would not wait another 15 days but just call there. My clinic offers walk-in appointments for these scenarios.
i had clomid for unexplained infertility (9 months in total) it was unsuccessful and i went on to have a second successful IVF cycle, but i don't remember my cycles changing much at all during treatment, the only thing i really noticed was ovulation pain. My cycles were on the longer side anyway though (30-32 days) and still are after pregnancy.
