Specialist referral.

Goidfairy here.

My husband saw specialist who was excellent.

Diagnosis.severe RLS.

Subtle non motor symptomology and possible Parkinsons disease.

Recommendations.

Dat scan.

Continue Ropinirole and add low dose Targinact 2.5/5mg.prolonged release 3 times a day.increasing evg.dose if needed.

Increase ferritin levels to 200 by infusion.

In view of the latest information I have seen the serum ferritin level of 200 sounds a bit conservative. It seems that you could go higher if the RLS symptoms don't cease at 200. 300 is suggested as a high limit but even a bit higher might help with a doctors supervision.

You can quote Doctor Buchfuhrer to your doctor as an authority for agreement for higher levels than 200.
