ADT + Zytiga holiday???
I've been on Orgovyx since 8/15/22 and Zytiga since 4/1/23. I'm also suffering from neuropathy from nerve damage that occurred in December 22. The nerve pain has gotten worse and my oncologist and neurologist are wondering if ADT or Zytiga are too blame. Anyone have experience with these drugs and

Weight increase on Bisoprolol
I recently read on the forum about Bisoprolol fumerate preventing weight loss. Are there any stats that show this? I have been on 2.5mgs since 2017, alongside 60mgs Edoxaban for the episode of AF I experienced then, and my weight has steadily but gradually increased, in spite of several attempts at different

Docetaxel only partially successful
I had a full body MRI scan this week at Royal Marsden in London. The purpose was to assess the effectiveness of docetaxel after 3 infusions. The results have been very disappointing, and I'm struggling to keep a sense of perspective - not least because I was feeling so good, and had seen all of my previous

Medication versus Surgery
In 2019 Stanford and New York Universities published an international research report showing that for patients with stable severe coronary heart disease there was little difference between patient outcomes between those patients who were treated with stents or Bypass operations and those patients that

Hello, This post is going to sound really trivial and vain, however I promise I am not at all in the slightest. I am 33 and have recently had double presserflo micro shunts fitted and we are 9 months on and my eyes still feel tender when I touch my eye lids. My consultants response was not to

Blue Horizon Thyroid Premium Gold test results
Hi, I'm fairly new to this site & this is the first time I've posted. I had recurrent non-malignant cysts on my thyroid with no other apparent symptoms in around 2006. Initially the cysts were drained using needle aspiration. (At this time, one of the sonographers who was performing the needle aspiration

The Cause of my Afib - a short essay but a long post!
Apparently as human beings we are programmed to look for causes. It seems to be a stage many of us Afibbers go through despite the good advice of those with more knowledge and experience. So I thought it could be helpful to share my own journey through the folly of myth making and lost causes. And

Circumcision done by Laser.
After a couple of years worth of issues with Phimosis and BXO I decided to get a circumcision. I searched online for weeks and decided that the Laser method would be the best for me and my situation. I met with the Doctor, I went private btw, and he talked me through the whole process and answered all

Hello. My mum is 72 and had surgery 8 years ago. She also had a stretch as she had problems with food getting stuck. Within the last 6 months she is being violently sick most evenings. A follow up to my previous post.. Is it my fault? That I didnāt give them enough relevant information when I phoned? How do I know what is relevant when Iām not a trained medical professional and I canāt see what comes up on their computer screen against my name? Would it hurt for them to ask

Struggling...
So, I've been struggling the last several months. Much moreso than my normal day-to-day struggles. I posted about one: my recent prostate cancer diagnosis. That was difficult to hear. Early on I made the choice to have a prostatectomy. Shortly afterwards I started feeling tons of anxiety. Not necessarily
