covid vaccines
In 4 weeks I have to have
Mohs
surgery
to the site which means I will have to take my mask off then the next day I have to go to Tampa for the closure so again I won’t be able to wear my mask. My vax record for covid is: 2/7/21 Moderna #1, 3/7/21 Moderna #2, 9/29/ Pfizer Omicron.

Having Rotator cuff repair tomorrow, and Moh's surgery next week.
Hi, Well, I made through the past week without aspirin and my anti-inflammatories, which I sorely missed, so that tomorrow they can fix my rotator cuff. Then next week, while I'm already out on leave, the basal cell cancer on my nose gets its turn. Hopefully, things go well, so please wish me luck

Lots of bad stuff happening, what to do?
Yesterday I had
Mohs
skin cancer
surgery
on my nose for a basal call carcinoma. It's hideous and sore but my reason for jumping on was that I'm wanting to get off of the Hydrea because I'm certain in my mind that it started my skin cancer & I'm afraid of melanoma or even another basal cell!!

Eligard
My PSA keep rising. Today, PSA went up to 2.25.1 from 1.1 (March). Doctor told me that he never had a patient Eligard does not work at all at the beginning. He asked me to go thru with PSMA scan and start to take Xtandi. He said there is a possibility I may also go thru with a testicle removal surgery

Surgery - Stage 4 - Increase in fertility?
Just wondering if anyone has had any experience of egg quality increasing after surgery? I have stage 4 endo with kissing ovaries. I went through a round of private ivf, they could only access a small part of one of my ovaries because they were kissing and unfortunately the 2 eggs they managed to

A quick update for those that remember my recent posts about the Ablation complications!
Ablation 16/3, artery got damaged, 3 outpatient appointments, 2 failed attempts at thrombin infusion under ultrasound, emergency 3 day admission to hospital with emergency pseudoaneurysm and arteriovenous fistula repair (pretty major surgery involving patching the damaged artery with cow veins) . Most

Cannot afford to pay gp
I can't afford to pay my GP for medical evidence for social housing and I'm living in a dangerous house I can't get landlord to fix plus it's not suited to my disabilities. I've not been able to fund a safe place to live because I can't pay my GP . The surgery isn't interesting in supporting me.

How Do you Know When You're On Enough B12?
I'm normally on the thyroid forum but have posted on here a few times and I would value your expertise. Sorry for the magnum opus post 😁 I've been on B12 injections for a number of years, used to be every 13 weeks but as I have other conditions, Fibro, Ehlers Danlos and hypothyroid and I've had persistent

Rash after operation
I had a reverse shoulder replacement last Monday. Surgeon said the op went well, and I have a follow-up appointment in ten days. I've had a tough week but morphine has helped pain relief. Of course, there are side effects of severe constipation, now controlled. The day after discharge, 3 days after

You couldn’t make it up!
I appear to be in some kind of health mayhem currently. I have a number of health issues RA, bronchiectasis, leaking heart valve , macular degeneration all of which require attention. Recently I have been found to have a basal cell carcinoma in the corner of my eye which has turned into a nightmare.

latest nhs results..
They’ve only done the tsh this time (actually I think that will be the norm now), but strangely the return of my symptoms coincides with an NHS tsh test of 1.96 which is EXACTLY the same tsh result as Sept last year when symptoms returned and I asked for the test and then for a small increase from 50

Still a lot of foreskin (that seems to be sticking) after circumcision.
Hi, I am 33 years old and I had a circumcision performed by the NHS 4 days ago. I have a few questions as I am worried about the healing process and if it is normal and if others have shared the same experience. Firstly, it seems that not enough foreskins has been taken off and the head of the penis
