Guillain-Barre Syndrome
Has anyone been diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome? Were you on immunotherapy at the time? Was there any link between that and the syndrome? Before diagnosis, did you have a flu vaccine prior to the condition? I have been on Keytruda and now have been taken off as I suffered a semi paralysis episode

Day 4
So I'm on day 4 of major pain... Still suffering from my car accident a year and 5 months later. Been an 8 since Sunday. So hard to get through the day, working from home kinda helps. I can be a tad less productive without people knowing. Saw a doctor at the Spine Institute in my state and he's really

Negative IgG antibodies from 1st shot of Pfizer’s Covid Vaccine
My twin sister has CLL and we finally got the results today from Boston Heart Lab’s semi quantitative IgG assay against the spike protein (code 648) and sadly the result was .04 and the test’s description says anything over .08 is positive for seroconversion. However, after reading about the test’s

HRT versus Pred as a treatment for PMR? Any flare up experienced from the adjuvants in vaccines ?
Before I was diagnosed with PMR I wondered if my symptoms could be due to menopause. As soon as I started taking HRT the fluey feelings went although most of the stiffness remained. Later I was given prednisolone which of course worked like magic. However after 18 months of tapering, I came off it altogether

Long QT Syndrome - Covid vaccine question
Hi, I was wondering if anyone else has long QT and has been added to the priority list? I got a free flu jab but when I asked my GP they told me that I won't get a Covid jab until it comes to my age group. I'm 38. I'm slightly annoyed as I have friends who have already had theirs just because they are

If the benefits of AZ vaccine highly outweigh the risks, why is the position of GP's not to administer it with sedatives ASAP to my son?
My son has Autism and Rubinstein Taybi Syndrome, he is registered with his GP as Clinically vulnerable. As his main carer I was offered the Coronavirus Vaccine under the conditions of being a carer for a person that is clinically vulnerable. However, as he is so scared of needles and has a known history

It’s not working
Following a particularly challenging day at work, which was preceded by a difficult nights sleep, last evening I found myself submerged in the familiar sort of ADHD thoughts and emotions I lived with my whole life. I have gotten the medications dialed in, I’m developing my inner advocate to contend on

Covid Jab poorly afterwards but worth it!
My wife and I had our Covid jabs yesterday - the huge wave of emotions from relief, excitement, happiness. I got the Astra Zeneca one and really quick simple process, both of us in and out in 5 minutes a really polished process. No immediate side effects yesterday. Went to bed got up a little pain

Thank you
Thank you to everyone who posted about vaccine groups. I usual I was blithely believing all was in hand. This certainty was bolstered by the fact that following COVID I had asked for the flu jab this year and the surgery had recognised I was not in the right code, section so had moved me. Following

COVID vaccine information for APS patients [Updated 28/01/2021] While the vast majority of people are still vulnerable to COVID-19, a vaccine could help teach our bodies to fight the virus by stopping us from being infected or, at least, make COVID-19 less deadly. Group 6 and Vaccine
As promised I'm updating on the vaccine situation. I had my vaccine this morning - it's the Astrazeneca one. My GP made it known they were doing Group 6 a week ago, so I called and got my slot this week. So far so good. Usually with the flu jab my arm swells up and aches and I feel shattered. So far

Had my first 2 gazyva infusions last Thursday and Friday. Had a brief infusion reaction both days which resolved. Now 4 days later have muscle aches like the flu. Already had my flu shot and don’t have any other symptoms. My Oncologist says that you can get muscle aches from the Gazyva. Has anyone

Chronic Shingles & Hashi/Hypo
Anyone else get Shingles everytime their TSH rises due to Hashi’s & it’s time for an increase in Levo.mg’s? This has been my pattern for a year now. First round was face/neck second was armpits. Both times bilateral. Shingles vaccine has not been an option for me because I can’t go long enough in between
