Methetrexate with covid vaccine

I had a flu jab a few months ago and for the first time ever I was told to stop taking methetrexate for 3 weeks after.Had the covid jab about a month ago but wasn't told to stop taking methetrexate, anyone been told to stop taking methetrexate with the covid jab?Thanks in advance people👍👍👍👍👍

Look on the magnifyimg hlass search above as lots of answers and links on it. Some people being told to stop a week before and a week after, others were not. You could ask your rheumy about your indivudual position. Also nras.org.uk have a good web interview with advice . And eular.org has lots of advice.

You can find many previous posts on this problem by putting it in the search box (top right).Basically it seems from research that you may get a better response to a vaccine if the methotrexate is paused. However, this must be balanced against the risks of a flare, and against the risks of catching the illness the vaccine is protective against. The advice is therefore tailored to each person and their individual risks.

Not told to stop but did anyway for 2!weeks after Astra Zeneca jab. Not medical advice from me!
