Guillain-Barre Syndrome

Has anyone been diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome? Were you on immunotherapy at the time? Was there any link between that and the syndrome? Before diagnosis, did you have a flu vaccine prior to the condition? I have been on Keytruda and now have been taken off as I suffered a semi paralysis episode earlier this year and they suspect GBS is the cause. Am waiting for a confirmed diagnosis and CT scan. Very interested in learning more from anyone. Thank you!

Update: so far this is the closest article I have found. It say keytruda should not be given to patients with known GBS.

So I’m wondering whether it was a flu shot that I had in December that caused it. The GBS began Jan 7. Who knows...

My son was in a clinical trial to treat Hodgkins Lymphoma and Keytruda was used. He began treatment 10/29/21. He ended up in the hospital with Guillain Barre Dec 10th. The Keytruda was then discontinued as it was the suspected cause.
