what options are there for my daughter?
The GP says that the next option is
Mirena
but she is worried about this. Progesterone isn't going to help with the belly blubber at all, even though it is at a so much lower dose than in the pill. Also, the thought that her periods will come back, even if only very light, scares her.

Coil advice
Hello guys, I’m very recently been diagnosed with endometriosis after 7 years of struggling in pain with my abdomen and pelvic area. I’m currently on a waiting list to see another doctor as I was told they couldn’t remove any of my endo during my larposphy as mine is attached severely to my bowel. Before

Is this normal?
I had a laparoscopic endo excision 2 and a half months ago where they also diagnosed me with Adenomyosis and inserted a IUD
mirena
at the time of the operation. My first period post op lasted 3 weeks and I had pain the whole time.

Bleeding after laparoscopy
I also had the
mirena
coil inserted. Since then I’ve had constant heavy bleeding to the point I’ve nearly passed out several times. I’ve had barely any issues with my incisions and no gas issues at all! I was wondering how normal this amount of bleeding is?

Home-Working
I have tried
Mirena
, the contraceptive pill... and am currently on Tranexamic Acid and normal painkillers. I have been thinking recently about working from home, as I am much happier and relaxed there. I only have a temporary job with a rolling contract, and have been here just over 7 months.

Adenomyosis and the Mirena coil - advice please!!!
I have missed 3 days of work now so I also want to ask how long it took you to stop having the initial severe cramps due to the
Mirena
insertion? Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you, Jess

Endo & Colon
Hi all, I had both fallopian tubes removed in January 2018 and had the
Mirena
Coil fitted to help with periods as I've never had a pregnancy and the consultant advised to have it fitted.

Struggling after lap
It’s coming up to the 12 days of the month I’m always at my worst as I’d be having a period if I didn’t have a
mirena
in, not sure if I will have a period now, or if that’s why I’m in so much pain. Am I expecting too much too soon? Should I go back to GP again? But expect her to do what?

Laparoscopy update
Hi lovelies, I have had my procedure and I am in a lot of discomfort and fragile but okay, and most importantly am still seizure free! I went into theatre at about 2:45pm and came out at 4:30pm. They found endometriosis on my left side which is where I would get the stabbing and aching symptom, he successfully

Advice about discharge and coil.
I’ve had the
Mirena
coil fired now for nearly 2 years so I’m wondering if it’s to do with my coil as I have never had anything like this before. I was just wondering if anyone with the coil has experienced anything like this or similar. Or anyone that doesn’t have the coil experienced similar.

Oral Progesterone (Cyproterone)
I have a
Mirena
IUD (progesterone secreting) but he would like to try increasing my dose to see if it helps with my pain and GI symptoms. I had my excision surgery back in April ‘18 and he doesn’t want to re-operate because he removed a lot of disease already.

Trying to get a diagnosis
This resulted in me being completely bull-dozed and the gynae telling me that he did not think my symptoms were gynae related and most likely IBS (even though I have no bowel type symptoms) but also said it could be the depo causing the issue and that I should change to the
mirena
coil.

Mirena removal - hormone free! Any experiences?
Any tips for
mirena
removal? I'm a little bit scared but also feel excited at the thought of seeing how my moods are, how my body reacts and seeing if there is a noticeable change in how I feel! Thanks x

Adenomyosis/Fibroids - which treatment?
The list is:
Mirena
coil - not often successful with Adenomyosis, plus don't fancy it either, so could end up back to square one and another choice to be made.
