So there is me thinking I am cured.. No incidents since the one and a bit flutters in April,. In August I finished my anti-coags and Wednesday this week I finished Metoprolol betas. Last night I had my meal and parked in front of the telly and got my usual mild ectopics. All of sudden the funky Gibbons

Hi all this is my first post. Been reading your blogs for a couple of months now. I been on atenolol for hypertension for about 6 yrs. I was diagnosed with afib Nov 2018. The day it happened I had just finished cooking dinner & had felt my heart pounding really hard. Didn't want to alarm my family

Do you take - White Metoprolol Tartrate Tablets
I'm very sensitive to colourings in tablets having an effect on my sleep. Have always taken Actavis brand, but they're not being made at the moment. Are you in the UK and is your Metoprolol tablet white? If so could you please let me know the make. Many thanks. Jean

low bp with metoprolol
I have sinus tachycardia at times. I have been prescribed metoprolol 25mg as needed. They told me not to take if my blood pressure is too low. My bp runs about100/65 now, I'm confused at what too low is. Anyone lese been told this? And what numbers did they give you?

Overmedicated after ablation? (long post - my apologies)
I'm in the USA, just had my second ablation (a more complicated PVI Cryoballoon Cath) and not knowing ahead of time that I was getting a different kind of ablation, was shocked to find that I am not supposed to lift over 10 lbs. or do anything that might strain my chest muscles for 8 weeks. OMG. All

How long before Nebivolol lowers heart rate?
Hi, I’ve been moved from metoprolol to Nebivolol for sinus tachycardia. 3 days after stopping 35mg pd Metoprolol and taking 5mg pd Nebivolol my hr and blood pressure are raised not lowered. Perhaps a rebound effect for stopping Metoprolol I don’t know. Does anybody know if it takes time for Nebivolol

After 6 months
Last night was the first time since my ablation on April 1 that I have felt af. It lasted about 1/2 an hour and went away I’ll call my cardiologist today as I am no longer on a blood thinner. I am only on a dose of metoprolol. Will see what his input is Hopefully it is a one time occurrence.

Pacemaker in 30s?
What has your experience been with a pacemaker? I am 38 years old and on my way to a pacemaker. 5 years ago I was diagnosed with PVCs after giving birth. I had a Holter monitor and was told they were benign and sent on my way. They have gotten progressively worse. I was put on 25 metoprolol then potassium

Hi crowd, greetings from a hot and sweaty Bangkok. The last 2 1/2 years since my abltion in 2017 were pretty ok. Always had my ectopics but that was not so bad. Did sport, swimming, walking, did ride my HD, got energy back, all pretty fine. Over the last couple of weeks my ectopics increased,

Stoping metoprolol
Hi all I just got back from my cardiologist and she decided to take me off metoprolol 25mg 2 x a day and put me on diltiazem 120mg 1x a day. I was told to just stop it and not to worry about it, however I read that I can get a bad arrhythmia if just stopped and not tapered off of it. Also a bit nervous
