Do you take - White Metoprolol Tartrate Tablets

I'm very sensitive to colourings in tablets having an effect on my sleep. Have always taken Actavis brand, but they're not being made at the moment. Are you in the UK and is your Metoprolol tablet white? If so could you please let me know the make.

Many thanks.

Jean

Thank you for letting me know that Paydayn01. I find coloured pills taken at night disturb my sleep. They tend to make me a bit hyperactive which is good in the morning, but not at night.

Hi Jeanie,

For what it's worth, in NZ I'm taking metoprolol succinate 47.5 mg called Betaloc CR made by AstraZenica. It's a round, white tablet and I've taken them for many years.

That's interesting Izzle. I wonder what the difference between Metoprolol tartrate and succinate is? Will do some research.

Thank you.

Yes, I didn't realise there were different forms of metoprolol but had previously wondered why my dose seemed so high relative to other forum users. Please let us know what you find out.
