Diltiazem and magnesium glycinate

Hi all

I recently been out on diltiazem xr 120mg and I’m was wondering if it’s ok to take magnesium glycinate aswell. Preveosly I was on metoprolol 25mg 2x a day and took the magnesium with no problems, just not sure on diltiazem channel blocker.

Hopefully some members who take the same pills as you will be able to advise, but (as Bob has suggested) your pharmacist would be the safest and most reliable person to ask.

I take Diltiazem 240mg CD and have always taken Magnesium Taurate or Magnesium Orotate with no problems.

My doctor had no problem with me taking magnesium with 120 mg diltiazem.
