Faslodex or exemestane?
Hi everyone, My mom's tumor markers came back higher, and her doctor wants her to switch from letrozole (which she's been on for 2 years) to either faslodex or exemestane. Just wanted to ask if any of you have used either and if there is a preference for one over the other. Thank you

My options in dealing with a metastasis
I had an Axumin scan a few months ago that revealed one
metastasis
starting in the prostate bed, prostate gland and extending thru the wall of the bladder. MO said I had two options: Cryosurgery or Proton radiation.

Bone Mets
Exactly a year to the day of my initial diagnosis of metastatic cancer, imaging found extensive bone mets in my femur and hip. It is the osteoblastic type. I'm set up for physical therapy to work with the soft tissue on my leg due to the pain and also radiation. Scheduled a PET scan to see if there

Metastasis Prevention is a New Weapon in the War on Cancer.
What is cancer
metastasis
?
Metastasis
is what happens when cancer cells spread throughout the body, most often to other organs, like the brain, bone tissue, the lungs and the liver.
Metastasis
, more often than not, turns cancer into an untreatable, terminal disease.

Vinorelbine (Navelbine)
I had an appointment with my oncologist this morning to discuss my latest scan results. Unfortunately it wasn’t good news as it showed significant progression in the liver and a small amount in the bones. This wasn’t unexpected as I’ve had a steady rise in both liver enzymes and cancer markers. The eribulin

Faslodex
Good morning ladies. Just a few questions about Faslodex. I've been getting these injections now for over 40 months and now it seems as tho my nurse is running out of viable spots to inject. This past Fri. I got 2 more but 1 was placed very high up and has caused me considerable pain while in bed.

Memory Gaps?
So, 2 years since diagnosed PSA 1000+ with extensive
metastasis
, with a few jumbo tumors that caused havoc. Then, ADT, Lupron and Zytiga, a year later, 6 infusions of Taxotere. Now at PSA < 0.02. I'm 60 years old and still employed as a software developer, love the work.

Has anyone had SBRT?
Hi everyone - so my mom was diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer with 2 tumors in her bone - T2 & L4 regions. She is considering doing radiation - an oncologist said today she has 2 approaches - a conservative approach and then SBRT. Risks of SBRT are nerve damage, paralysis, and bone damage

New here; lumps from Fulvestrant; fatigue solution
I came here first because I thought Ibrance + Fulvestrant, which have worked miraculously on my stage 4 MBC, had suddenly stopped working after 18 months. After a week-end of panic due to results of PET scan, received a call from oncologist saying she thought the radiologist was wrong; it was nothing

If PSA is undetectable for over 2 years?
My PSA at diagnosis was 1000+, with extensive
metastasis
in the usual bones, the latest scans shows scars, no active tumors and PSA <0.02. So, why continue quarterly Lupron shots and daily Abiraterone Acetate (Zytiga) with Prednisone?

Xeloda failed after only 2 cycles
I have to say that I am beside myself. My first scans on Xeloda show increase size and number in Liver Tumors. This is the 3rd drug that has failed for me in the past 6 months. Ibrance, then Piqray now Xeloda. I am really worried. I spoke with my oncologist yesterday and there are 3 classes of IV Chemos
