New Trial of Lu-177-PSMA-617 to begin April 30, 2021.
There must be at least 1
metastasis
identified in the last month with bone scan/CT/MRI. Although it is randomized 1:1, patients in the control group (who will receive an untried advanced hormonal) will be allowed to receive the Lu-177-PSMA-617 after there has been radiographic progression.

Recurrence patterns after RP, RT and sRT assessed by PSMA-PET/CT
Nodal
metastasis
(N1) positivity rate was similar between RP and dRT (179/464; 39% vs 43/109; 39%; p = 0.87). Extrapelvic
metastasis
(M1) positivity rate was lower for RP than dRT (93/464; 20% vs 51/109; 47%; p = < 0.0001). Median time from post-RP SRT to second recurrence was 22.3 months.

Letrozole (Femara} vs Arimidex
Hi Ladies. I hear the daffodils in Scotland are peeking through so we have Spring to look forward to. No sign of them here in Wa State but maybe I’ve just missed them. A little history is that I had a double mastectomy in 2007 with reconstruction for invasive BC. Chemo wasn’t suggested and I declined

That intense bone
metastasis
pain completely disappeared after about 2 weeks. It was rough going and I needed 24/7 opiates to get any relief. I weened myself off the fentanyl patches and now just take oxycodone 5 mg 1-2 times per day for vague leg cramps and restless legs I get at night.

Low Ca15/3 and metastatic breast cancer
Hi to all, Thanks for all your support. Was just wondering about my ca15/3 level. It's always been of 15 which is a normal rate. Therefore it cannot be used to monitor progression. But, how is it it's so low when I have 9 bone mets and also my breast tumor. A quite big tumor burden should give much

Eribulin (Halaven )stopped working
Dear ladies , I have metastatic breast cancer ( liver) . I was on Ibrance nearly 3 years and it stopped working in September 2020. Brain Metastasis
It seems that the I have newly discovered brain mets which caused my black out and recent hospitalization. I am so tired from the meds they have me on. They want to start brain radiation on Monday. I am on the one hand terrified and on the other resigned as this has been presented as the best option

Chemo options when Stage 4 Gleason 8
My surprise is because my doctors said that at my stage (4, Gleason 8, 4+4 with tiny non-painful
metastasis
to pelvic and lower abdomen area that are only visible on the Pet Scan) the only options were radiation or ADT. Neither surgery nor chemo were ever on the table for me.

First scan on Xeloda
Tomorrow morning I have my first scan after starting Xeloda in October. I've only had one good scan since being diagnosed in February '19 (my first scan on Ibrance). I've shown progression each time. Everolimus did nothing. I'm afraid Xeloda isn't working as the ache under my rib cage which diminished

I take letrozole and Ibrance together
After dinner. I am 3 weeks on both and 2 weeks just letrozole. This sounds crazy but I feel better when on both together. Letrozole itself causes me more body aches , tired and mood changes , depressed , anxious. Has anyone else experienced this before ? I have MBC to my bones , kidney, spleen , lymph

Delivering immune-stimulating nanoparticles to the lungs via red blood cells halts tumor growth in mice.
Rather than viewing lung
metastasis
as unfortunate fallout from a primary tumor elsewhere, the team focused on treating the
metastasis
itself by delivering immune-cell-attracting chemicals into lung cancers via red blood cells.

Can high ALP indicate therapy before bone mets are confirmed?
Does anyone know if this can be considered a strong indication that I indeed have
metastasis
in bones? Mets in lymph nodes are already confirmed. I am on Firmagon/degarelix + Bicalutamid now.

Rising PSA but scan ok.
His ct scan report says that the
metastasis
has mostly remained the same or slightly gotten better. Not sure how long he is to continue chemo but shouldn’t it be lowering?? His side effects of chemo are not too bad. TIA for at input

Wow, 3 in a row
Then November had bone density scan which 2 years ago said osteopenia and lumbar spine said too involved in
metastasis
to give a rating, now says normal bone density and even lumbar spine has a normal rating. I'm still in shock from all the good news.

Xeloda
Hi Ladies I’ve been on Xeloda now since the beginning of November and had the dose reduced to 1000 mg twice a day due to my sore feet...these have improved but my hands are peeling a bit but manageable I take the tablets one week on one week off and have just finished a week off...I thought I would
