Letrozole
Hi everyone, I just wondered about the side effects of Letrozole. I had 7mm bc removed via lumpectomy, due to have radiotherapy soon, no chemo required. I am really struggling with the possible side effects of this drug. I know we are all individuals but just wondered if side effects are as hideous as

piqray
I was on Piqray and Fulvestrant for two years with MBC with the Piq mutation. A large percentage of us have it, but not all doctors test. I took it after Ibrance and everolimus/exemestane quit working. I wonder why Piqray isn’t included on the drop down list of treatments on this site. I’ve now

Newly diagnosed after severe pain, nocturia and urine retention- can bone mets cause fractures and other issues?
I'm newly diagnosed with bone
metastasis
. Hips, spine , ribs. Feeling terrified and scared. Did anyone have bone fractures and other issues from bone mets? The survival stats are causing me a lot of distress.

Future treatment
She has added me to a study called ProBio, but before that happens she says they first have to detect some
metastasis
. Does this sound reasonable? I feel like I am just waiting for the cancer to spread without doing anything to prevent it.

My husband was diagnosed in Jan 2020 with stage 4 prostate cancer with bone
metastasis
. He is castrate-resistant. He is on Lupron every three months. Zytiga failed after about a year. He is now on his fourth chemo (cab) which the doctor thinks is not working.

Former art teacher with a passion for travel
Former art teacher. I started traveling in my fifties and it became my passion (I’ve visited 41 countries so far!) until Covid and then my stage 4 diagnosis came. Diagnosed with IDC stage 3 in 2015. My great-grandmother had breast cancer in the 1920s, and an aunt had it when she was in her mid-eighties

Undetectable for 8yrs 3mo with Advanced PC.
That’s pretty good for an old dude who was told in 2012 with Stage 4 PC with bone
metastasis
, that I may have only three years left on this earth. I have truly received a lasting durable remission (though we know docs don’t like to use that word) but I do, and I shout it out!.
