Extra Afinitor 10 mg and 7.5 mg

Hi.

I have had bad side effects from Afinitor. My oncologist has taken me off Afinitor and will be putting me on Xeloda.

I gave a week of the 10mg still in the blister pack and two weeks of the 7.5mg in their blister packs. The 7.5 mg is the generic form of Afinitor.

I would be glad to ship my leftovers, if someone can use them.

Not quite sure how to dm someone here, but have faith someone will have the answer.

I am in the US (North Carolina) if that matters

Anyone have advise about Xeloda?

had terrible side affects from xeloda, But everyone is different you should try it and find out. HelenaI

Were you tested for DPD deficiency prior to treatment or when you were experiencing serious side effects?

I was experiencing horrible side effects. Am on Xeloda now and so far, so good (2 weeks in, now on off week).

Just met with my onc this morning and gave her the leftovers.

Ask your oncologist if he can give it to a patient who needs it. Would be somewhat afraid of mailing prescription drugs. Blessings, Hannah
