pip decision
I had evidence from doctors, partner on how the Fibromyalgia affects me and how my
mental
health
affects me. I’ve suffered with my
mental
health
for 20plus years. The letter actually states because I can drive and I understood and answered her questions I’m not entitled to PIP.

Could I stop taking Rivaoxaban?
I’ve been on Flecainide, Bisoprolol and Rivaoxaban now for 5 years and have a pacemaker, my heart is in sinus rhythm at 60bpm. I understand that Rivaoxaban is to help prevent blood clots forming, but as my AF is now managed could I stop taking it? I get frequent gum bleeds despite excellent oral hygiene

Possible IBS but GP doesn’t know for sure…..
I’m completely at a loss and it’s affecting my
mental
health
. Every medical professional I have spoken to says it’ll get better and keep taking Imodium and have a plain diet. I have an allergy test booked for this week and I’m praying that it shows something because I really don’t know what to do.

I am 69 yrs old with low heart disease risk and have had diagnosed afib for three years. I believe I was suffering with it for 2-3 years prior but did not address it until I got the classic symptoms of fatigue, dizziness, out of breath, and vision problems. Finding coping strategies - my experience
Exercise and diet
From my experience there is no substitute for tackling
mental
health
and other health issues with finding an outlet for releasing frustrations with an adrenaline rush that comes from not just a healthy lifestyle.

I work nights as a
mental
health
support worker (40 hours aweek ) I have just been told by my Gp I should not be working nights as people with fibro need rest and he suggested maybe my flare ups I’m having is because I’m sitting up for 10 hours whilst on shift.

Ibrance and Anastrozole for Endometrial Cancer - Is anybody else on this regimen?
Hello, I live in the U.S. I am on Ibrance and Anastrozole for ER+ PR+ HER2- endometrial cancer for over 5 ½ years. I was originally diagnosed in 2015 and had two recurrences. Now I am in remission. In the U.S., I am not meeting people (on online forums or in real life) that are on the same regimen

Hypo type episode while on Forxiga /Dapaglaflozin, waiting for pacemaker upgrade. Any experiences with this drug anyone?
I felt sweaty and shaky after skipping breakfast this morning, and looking at the leaflet for Dapaglaflozin, I see one of the side effects is to cause low blood sugar levels. It's a diabetes drug which has been found to help with Heart Failure patients. It makes you pee away blood sugar. So I ate some

Interesting Article (please read)
came across this article today and would like to know your thoughts: i was swayed by flashy advertising in the late 1990s featuring medical stars like Professor Lord Winston, who convinced me that omega-3 fish oil supplements were essential for my brain and my heart. Fast forward to today, and

Rheumatology patients’ experiences of support, medical care, and the effects of their diseases on physical and mental health Survey
The University of Cambridge study into quality of life, neurological and
mental
health
systems, and medical relationships from rheumatology patients had a fantastic response rate and they are soon to publish their first paper which we hope will improve care and understanding.

How do I say goodbye?
I won't be going into details about all the other hospitals I've been to or the CBT people, or the hearing aid nonsense or the phone calls from NHS auditory specialists or the meeting with their Crisis team (apparently they are concerned about my
mental
health
) or the monthly call from an NHS shrink

PMR and Pfizer Covid Vaccine
Within 5 days of my husband and I receiving the first Pfizer Covid jab, he started getting pains in his legs and shoulders. He took paracetamol & used Bio Freeze, similar to deep heat. He got progressively worse, a GP diagnosed Frozen Shoulder over the phone, prescribed Co-Codamol & Naproxen. Within

Amiriodone & NDT update
So I was put on Amiodarone post heart surgery 3 1/2 weeks ago. I thought it was a three week course but it's not. Now on 200mg per day for the next few months . And yes I think it's messing my thyroid hormones up. I did protest over taking it...due to its high iodine content and contrary indications.
