Iodine (Trust Me I’m a Doctor)
A recent Episode of ‘Trust Me I’m a Doctor’ revealed that Iodine is something many folk are deficient in. It mention some of the consequences of deficiency but, to my recollection, did not touch on Iodine’s importance to the immune system. (A significant area of interest for Asthmatics). Major dietary

Thick toe nails - fungus?
Toenails. I have thick big toe and pinky toe nails. Under one big toe is a white lump in the middle of the nail under the nail. I do not think it is a fungus. I used tea tree oil and oregano oils for months - and they are anti-fungal. I just want this "bump" to grow out smooth again. I cut my toenail

I need advice
How can I help my 60 yr. old beloved sister cope with PSP? She desperately wants me to tell her that she can get better with diet, herbal medicines, etc. She was diagnosed in the Spring of 2017. I've read all about Elizabeth Kubler-Ross and a lot on grief; but I cannot tell her she looks better, when

HHD and the Candida connection
Hi. I realised that I had inherited HHD from my dad 20 years ago, in my 20s. It has been getting progressively worse... In the last year, I gave been suffering from low-body temp and fatigue as well as worse HHD and other symptoms. I thought it was my thyroid, but all blood values are "within range"

Grapeseed Extract
Hi I'm looking for anyone with experience of using Grapeseed Extract. I have IBS symptoms but recently been diagnosed with Candida Albicans - recently read a book about Candida which mentioned taking this as an anti fungal and antiviral. So looked online and the reviews are great. Have ordered some drops

5 Years of Congestion in One Lung... Need Answers...
I'm a 32 year old female and my left lung feels heavy and congested. I have no idea the cause or how to get it treated. I've just joined this site today hoping for some direction. I felt perfectly healthy until about 5 years ago. I started seeing a doctor as many health issues seemed to arrive at once

Can't sleep, Internal shaking, ringing ears
It's 4am and I haven't slept more than 20 minutes. This seems to be happening more lately. I have been dealing with this for about 2 years. I have tried to convince myself that it's not anxiety, but I think it is. I am very hesitant to try any meds, mainly because of the side effects and also because

Ibrutinab overdose?
My husband is on the Flair trial, having started it in June 2016. He's had CLL for more than ten years, on watch and wait, but in March 2016 his red blood count dived, necessitating fort nightly blood transfusions. One month into the trial he unfortunately developed fungal pneumonia and was hospitalised
