When will they help?

I had my gallbladder removed around 2014 and later dignosed with Bile Acid Malabsorption as a result. But I still had constant pain around my liver.

Then in 2020 I finally got referred to a gastroenterologist who listened and got me and ultrasound,then CT and MRI with contrast because they found tumours. Diagnosis is FNH and Hepatic Adenoma's, so both benign. Also NAFLD.

Thing is I'm still in lots of pain and my bowel movements have been worse again.No one seems to listen! The gastroenterologist who diagnosed me has since left and the one I've spoken to since gave me a 10 min phone call appointment. How is 10 minutes enough time to go through it all and them diagnose or treat you ?! I'm now fighting to get to see a gastroenterologist again but it's wearing me down.

How do I get help and proper investigations? Who do I need to see? Is it someone other than a gastroenterologist?

Try and get referred to a hepatologist.

Have they mentioned surgery to remove the FNH and adenomas?

Thank you, I'll ask for that.No, they want to leave them for now as they're small but if they are that small I can't understand why I have so much pain and discomfort there, it feels like there is a huge swelling/thing pressing against everything.
