Muscle jerks when falling asleep
I have recently started to experience muscle jerks when my body is falling asleep. This is following a perfect storm of worse sleep while on holiday (I already have a disrupted cycle of sleep but it is regular), spike in my T (which I have had for approx 8 weeks and actually had been habituating well

FET supliments??
So after a hellish week of waiting for a phone call, I was advised today that I have 2 frozen embryos! Feel like I can relax and breath again! Not having my FET for a few months. I was looking for some pre- FET supliment advice? Pre egg-collection I have been taking high dose Folic Acid, Vitamin D, CoQ10

What I have learned from 1 year with Early Onset PD - "Glass Half Full"
I decided to keep a journal of my journey - it has been quite a year but I have learned a lot. some of which maybe relevant for new and older PD people. I am not a doctor and this is not a medical opinion but there is lots available to make a stand against PD https://fightparkinsonsdisease.files.wordpress.com

Nerves are just raw
MRI came back good. Guess it's the Pernicious Anaemia. I am experiencing some numbness in my face again along with extreme sensitivity in my legs to the point I can't even stand anything to touch them. I have not slept well in a couple weeks because I wake up with mild panic. I do notice when I'm

Magnesium for ectopics and which magnesium is best Taurate vs Citrate?
Hi guys as the headline suggests I’m looking for some opinions on magnesium for ectopics and wondered if anyone takes magnesium. I’ve read that it can really help with ectopics and reducing them and making them less noticeable. Mine have become really bad lately I’m currently wearing a 2 week spider

Magnesium and heat and Pregabalin
From my research it seems that Magnesium Oxybate is the interaction problem, and I am supposing not other forms of magnesium? Second query: I have stored some Pregabalin in my car glove compartment for emergencies and now have to take them waiting for a renewal and I am wondering if heat can affect

Ashermans, thin lining, low ovarian reserve, poor responder.. trying ivf one last time with donor sperm for possible surrogacy if lucky
After many years of having a Mirena coil for heavy periods, my then partner and I decided to start to try for a baby. I thought it was strange that when I had the coil out my periods remained just as light as when I had it in. I decided to do some hormone tests, and discovered I had a high prolactin

Inulin improves gut health in humans in part by stimulating the growth of beneficial bifidobacteria
I need smartypants to figure out if this inulin is good or bad please. https://selfhacked.com/blog/health-benefits-inulin/ Inulin is present in 36,000 plant species including those we consume in our daily diets such as wheat, onion, bananas, garlic, and asparagus. They are also found in less common foods

Symptoms but no diagnosis. Frustrating. I've tried everything and would appreciate any kind of advice. Please note this is a very long post.
I started to feel discomfort on the right side below my ribs about a year and a half ago. It wasn't pain as such but more of a discomfort that one should not feel daily. I was drinking heavily at the time; beer, whiskey, tequila. This discomfort has now become chronic that would last for a few hours

Ashermans syndrome, endometrium 2.5mm, poor responder, trying ICSI one last time for surrogacy
Hi everyone, I’ve started a short protocol this week 450 Ovaleap to combine with Menopur from day 8 to try and get a blastocyst to freeze for potential surrogacy After many years of having a Mirena coil for heavy periods, my then partner and I decided to start to try for a baby. I thought it was strange

Two lots of test results from same blood draw - but the FT4 results do not match
Hi, I recently organised to do blood tests through Blue Horizon then my GP said I needed to do some, so I had the blood taken for both at the same time. My relevant Blue Horizon test results are: TSH <0.05 [0.27 - 4.20] FT3 4.85 [

Blood test results
Thank you all for responding so quickly and for the information already given. I didn't think about not taking medication for 24 hrs before taking a thyroid test. This might explain why I have just got a message from the doctor saying that my last blood test (last Tuesday) produced normal results.

Iron supplementation and flares
Hello, I'm wondering if anyone has any experiences of adverse reactions to iron supplementation? I am not diagnosed with RA but have a MCTD which has features of RA, Lupus and Vasculitis. I have been on hydroxychloraquine for about 3 years which has helped a lot. One of the problems I have experienced
