Hi guys as the headline suggests I’m looking for some opinions on magnesium for ectopics and wondered if anyone takes magnesium. I’ve read that it can really help with ectopics and reducing them and making them less noticeable. Mine have become really bad lately I’m currently wearing a 2 week spider flash monitor so hopefully they have been picked up on it and the cardiologist can see I’m suffering with them but I would like to try magnesium to see if it helps.
What I’m confused with is, as with most supplements there are a million and 1 brands and choosing which are legit and which aren’t is hard work. And which form of magnesium is better I’ve read that Citrate and Taurate are good but which is better for ectopics. I’m in England and wondering if anyone could recommended a trustworthy brand and place to get some from Amazon have loads of different brands but it’s hard to know if some are real or fake as mixed reviews make it hard to decide, thanks in advance.

I:m not sure Liam-James, but there is a YouTube presentation by Dr Sanjay Gupta, who has definitely mentioned magnesium info, see under York Cardiology.Good luck.
Hi Liam. I recommend a company called ‘Nutri Advanced Ltd’ So that you get the correct one the address is Meridian House, Botany Business Park, Macclesfield, Whaley Bridge, High Peak SK23 7DQ a nutritionist put me onto them 12 years ago and I’ve used them ever since. They sell good quality vitamins which are a little more expensive but I know I’m getting a genuine product. Hope this helps you. Good luck
Thank you do you use the Magnesium Glycinate they sell? I’ve just looked they sell a tub of 120 tablets for just under £20 the dosage is 200mg per 2 tablets and I’m led to believe 400mg is a good dosage per day. Can I ask what dosage and what time of day you usually take them and have they helped with your ectopic beats?
Hi Liam. I’m unable to comment as I don’t use that particular product. Checkout their website you are able to contact them for free advice on their products. And the online reviews left by other customers which would be beneficial to you.
THis is what I was told but don't quote me. "magnesium Glycinate seems to be the best for heart health especially as a dialater and it is the only one out of all the magnesium supplements that is easier on the stomach." I haven't tried it. I would go to a reliable company like Holland and Barret.
