Eating tip
for those who can’t eat too much. I recommend a smoothie first thing in the morning. my smoothie contains: fresh blueberries, fresh strawberries, lime or lemon juice, honey and milk. I also alternate between banana’s and avocado. hope this helps someone.

Ferrous sulphate tablets 200mg - any advice much appreciated
Hi, I had my iron levels checked which came back as ferritin: 8 ug/L and given a prescription for ferrous sulphate 200mg. The box is saying to take 2-3 times a day on an empty stomach, or avoiding certain foods (milk, grains, tea, coffee) I'm pregnant and having extreme nausea and sickness, nibbling

Vitamin results are in, advice please.
I finally managed to get a Ferritin test from GP after latest Medichecks showed it had gone down despite taking 20mg of Solgar Gentle Iron. Well, the NHS one shows it’s gone up to 31 from 24 which is amazing really as I haven’t been taking any iron for two weeks!!! So I’m getting no help from them.

Recalls, Market Withdrawals, and Safety Alerts
I was searching for something else entirely when I found a recall for Magnesium Citrate I had bought last week and never used THANK GOODNESS ! The thing is, I looked in 3 stores (pharmaceutical areas) before I found this one, last bottle at a local Kroger. Fortunately, I did not open the bottle

I’m pretty new to this group but am very grateful to be part of this forum. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis in 2017 and started sodium risedronate around 2018. I took it until about 4 months ago when my Endocrinologist took me off to put me on Prolia, which she assured me had no contraindications

Hello, I am 52 years old and was diagnosed with ADHD a couple of months ago by my primary doctor. She treated me for anxiety and depression for years with medications but had no luck. This led to the ADHD diagnosis. I am now waiting to see a physiatrist to confirm it after weeks of trying to find

Magnesium threonate
Following on from my magnesium/arsenic query, I've been advised to take magnesium threonate for tinnitus. Does anyone else take this supplement and can they recommend a brand? Thank you!

Update on magnesium supplement for missed beats.
I had Covid early in 2020 and immediately noticed missed heartbeats at a fairly constant rate. Quite a common after effect I've been told. Cardiology put me on a Holter and told me I had sinus node disease and second degree heart block and inserted a pacemaker to stop bpm going too low whilst asleep

Test Results show over-replacement but
Dear All, I went to the Specialist and he agreed to prescribe T3 until my next review in September. He was quite pleasant and understood some of my points. Unfortunately not all points but nevertheless I believe it was a fruitful appointment. I got the result of the blood test done on the day. Mind due

Mind-Map of Lone AF, Thyroid, Gilbert's and Autism
I'm new to forums about the above. So, forgive me if I'm going over old ground. My medical history is really only remarkable for mild Gilbert's Syndrome (hyperbilirubinaemia) and mercury fillings (in common with much of the UK of my generation!). However, 13 years ago I was diagnosed with lone paroxysmal

Hashimotos fatigue
I was given Novothyral 2 years ago by a FM doc but recent tests showed antibodies so saw an endocrinologist. She diagnosed hashimotos but said the Novothyral dose isn’t right. I started taking levothyroxine straight away about 2 weeks ago but I’m still waiting for my order of T3 to come through, since
