I've just received some blood results for minerals and vitamins it says on all of them.. NORMAL NO ACTION REQUIRED:
Vitamin B12.. 395 ng/L... Range.. (179.00--771.00).. Supplementing for the last 2 weeks better you vitamin B 12.
Ferritin 45 ug/L... Range.. 23.00--400.00
Magnesium 0.86..range.. 0.7--1.00mmol/L
Vitamin D.. 43..range.. 50.00--150.00..suplementing since sep 2020 on better you vit D with k2.. My last vit D done in 2021 was 52..its gone down to 43.. You probably know I'm struggling with top of the range calcium and over range PTH.. and top range PTH.. indicative of hyperparathyroidism for which 2 endos said I probably have. So is my body keeping the vit D down to help with calcium? Or could it be an absorption issue as I went back on T4 teva for a trial and because of the fillers I get bad stomach and bowle issues I've had very loose bowels and pain since going back on it.. I wrote to my surgery 2 weeks ago with my concern that a gp has told me to decrease the T4 from 50mg to 25mg until I see the endo in Aug as I'm already hypo this won't make my situation any better, I have asked for my T3 prescription to be reinstated ASAP so far no response from my surgery.
TSH...6.04...
NO T3 OR T4 surgery refused these tests
Thanks everyone ❤️

HiI've wrote to my surgery telling them to deal with my hypo.. And asked to re do my thyroid bloods as they have not been done correctly, I'm supplementing with B12 spray/vit D spray.. And magnesium, I really can't stay on this teva T4 much longer.. 😭😭
Thorne Basic B or Jarrow B Right are recommended options that contains folate, but both are large capsules. (You can tip powder out if can’t swallow capsule)
IMPORTANT......If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 7 days before ALL BLOOD TESTS , as biotin can falsely affect test results
With serum B12 result below 500, (Or active B12 below 70) recommended to be taking a B12 supplement as well as a B Complex (to balance all the B vitamins) initially for first 2-4 months.
once/if your serum B12 is over 500 (or Active B12 level has reached 70), stop the B12 and just carry on with the B Complex.
