Hello, My Friends (who are most likely asleep as I write this from Ohio). On June 14th I had updated blood tests done that I specifically requested based on suggestions made on this forum so we could see if maybe my B12 treatment is getting into my cells. My B12 blood serum is close to 1000, but we

Deadline to reduce to 7.5 mg!
Hi everyone! I saw my rheumatologist yesterday and got a renewal on the 5 mg pred with refill! She's "ok" with the method I want to use to slow taper but it's "not what she normally does." She wants me to be tapered down to 7.5 mg by Sept 15, I'm at 11 mg currently . She's very concerned about being

Bruising after B12 injection
Hello, I have been injecting daily for a few years now but I have recently started to bruise where I inject. I have increased the dose and have also started injecting magnesium which I though would cause an issue but hasn't so far. Any ideas on how to stop the bruising? Thank you in advance.

Latest results so little help from my friends please and thank you
Okay, little help please. I’ve attached my new medicheck’s results and can see a few flaws! I’m comparing results with February’s and my CRP is down, so that’s good. My ferritin is down from 47 which is disappointing as I’ve been taking 20mg iron without fail. I will now go back to my GP (Last NHS

41 YO bloodwork test results without methyl malonic acid
My friend was seen her GP for weird symptoms she has and the doctor was forgot to ask lab methyl malonic acid test but all other bloodwork was done. Unfortunately she has injected two times hydroxocobalamin so it's not possible to redo bloodwork for methyl malonic acid. She sent to me her bloodwork

Ectopic Heart Beats
My 24 hour holter monitor results are in. Doctor explained no AFib but evidence of Ectopic heartbeat. He didn't suggest any treatment as I am on Bisoprolol already. GP suggests live with it and report if gets uncomfortable. He didn't tell me the burden figure but I suspect low - when at rest. So far

Cramps with GCA?
Apologies if this is in FAQs, I did search but got tangled in IVF threads! I have been troubled by foot and leg cramps alot since GCA diagnosis, helped by wearing thick bedsocks, even in tropics! Also while on high doses of pred, my hands would go into cramped claws when doing even simple exercise,

Oh how I hate RLS🥴
Hi everyone. I have been unfortunate enough to have inherited RLS from my father and aunt, it didn’t manifest itself in me until my late 50’s . When I first asked the doctor for help she had just read that pramipexole was worth a go it worked 1 tablet a day for years, now I’m on 4 and even that doesn

Did anyone else listen to the talk about Electrolytes by Surrey ASG?
Very interesting, unfortunately i dont think it was recorded. Conclusions were to try and get enough Magnesium and Potassium from food, although results for Magnesium were inconclusive, it seemed to me that Potassium was key. I have heard bad things about potassium tablets in the past so i have been

Magnesium and other Supplements
Anyone taking Magnesium for their arrhythmia's or otherwise? If so, what kind -- citrate, succinate, taurate, etc? -- and what dose of mg are you taking a day? Brand names welcome. And what has been your experience? Also, besides good for your heart rhythm, one of the benefits I've read is blood pressure
