Parathyroid issues are not really part of thyroid medicine/health. (Yes - the name makes them sound as if they should be!)

When members ask about parathyroid, we usually point them at two sites - one in the USA which has is very comprehensive and the other in the UK.

Parathyroid.com

The most comprehensive information about parathyroids on the internet. Despite being from by a commercial organisation, it is produced as a source of information for patients with promotion very much by a by-product.

Parathyroid.com is the world's top source for parathyroid glands and their most common disease: hyperparathyroidism. The site is maintained by the Norman Parathyroid Center, the world's leading parathyroid surgery center performing about 10% of the parathyroid operations in the United States--nearly 4000 per year. Hyperparathyroidism, parathyroid surgery, and blood calcium levels are discussed in great detail.
