get on that boat and go
My question is to do this I would have to stop the monthly degarelex and shift to
lupron
that has a three month deport and then when I return continue degarelex with monthly injections. Does this seem wise to fool around with what is working.

My story so far.....Steely_Dan
Treatment Was Casodex,
Lupron
and several months later chemo. That got me through nearly 4 years. Provenge thrown in for good measure. Currently on Zytiga ( 3.5 years.) PSA last month stood at 0.008. 8.5 years and counting, guess I'm lucky.

Thoughts on switching from firmagon to lupron
MO has suggested that I consider switching to
lupron
as a convenience to me. Obviously, a 3 month shot is more appealing than a 28 day sequence. I am somewhat hesitant since the treatment seems to be working.

Advice for next steps for 82 year old dad
He had chemo and started on
lupron
+ bicalumatide. In 2020 the medicine began to fail and he had provenge and started on Xtandi. Now his Xtandi is failing. His PSA is presently 2.54, up from 1.17 three months ago.. which was about half of that the months prior.

Question on CRPC
Initially, I also had
Lupron
which took me to castrate level and it stayed that way even till now it is still at <20 ng/dl. PSA started rising and doubling in the last 4-5 quarters. Onc says I should take
Lupron
. If I am already at castrate, what would
Lupron
do for me?

question about being NED
He was started on Ibrance, letrozole, monthly
lupron
shots, and xjeva for bone Mets. his PET scan last September showed NED and then his PET scan in January also showed NED. Next scan is probably in June or July. His tumor markers hover at about 20-25 range.

Side effects
I saw my oncologist on Tuesday and she gave me the option to stop all meds except the
Lupron
injection (I am due for my 2nd injection the first days of May) I do have to whine off the Prednisone in a two weeks period.

Need some advice on what tools are still in the toolbox
I’ve also had
Lupron
and Zometa along the way. All of my treatments have been at Hershey Medical Center. My MO was looking to start me on Xofigo, but it was denied by the insurance, so I’m wondering what tools might be left in the toolbox. I was also denied for Talzenna and Lynparza.

when do you take a break
Just wondering i do 5 mg of prednisone 1000 mg of abiraterone and
Lupron
every 3months plus bone so I've been on this now 10 months PSA is less than 0.001, so at what point do you take a break looking into the future how do you know when to take that break and what if the cancer comes back do you start

What types of food to eat with Nubeqa, to help protect the liver or other organs?
I suppose that
Lupron
might lessen liver stress too, as opposed to Orgovyx. George

Nighttime incontinence
I am on
Lupron
and abiraterone now for about 9 months. Among other side effects, I have occasional bed wetting. I dont have daytime issues and never experienced any of that even immediately after surgery. However, on a completely random basis, I will wet the bed while sleeping.
