Finish my 6 month Lupron (2X3 month injection) this week. 2-1-23 was first injection.bHeading to Cozumel today for some QOL time. When should be my T level (not tested as of yet) and next uPSA test?. Finished 35 imrt in early January. RO said probably not until Aug. Seems long and I was hoping to track road to my nadir even if values on psa or T wont be at lowest yet?

PSA is meaningless before 3 months post RT.
In my case: had my final LUPRON injection June '22 (completion of 2 years ) also completed 39 fractions of EBRT . Had my first PSA/Testosterone post ADT 6 months, results PSA<0.01, T=8.8 nmol/L.
Testosterone is still low at 8.8nmol/L -on a range of 10.0-35.0 mol/L, but I feel much improved compared to the time on the dreaded LUPRON!
My next PSA/T test will be in 6 months time. I'm expecting that result to be similar as I believe 1 year after ADT is still to early to gauge PCa reaction.
I hope you enjoy you QOL break and have continued good results and health. Best wishes.
You are hitting it hard. Listen to your RO. “this ai’nt their first Rodeo”. PSA May actually rise after IMRT/SBRT, then settle down. I hit my personal low Nadir 13 mos after SBRT at .008, but at 3 mos was a better number, and every 3 months each went slightly lower.
My T level fluctuates much more than PSA. My T was 9ng/ml, then Zero, then 3, then 14, then 3. So don’t freak. I believe below 25ng/ml is considered Castrate ( hate that word to be associated with me🤬).
Best,
Mike
We are on same schedule mostly but not done with my RT yet. Got my first Lupron shot 1/17/23. Last week my PSA was 0.12 and my testosterone 0.
As others have said I’m not really paying much attention to it yet but at least is headed where it should.
I plan on a bunch of QOL trips once I get through the RT. 18 to go!
Enjoy life. Your body will tell you when to slow down; especially sleep. Example..... finished Brachytherapy and 25 sessions of IMRT in 2003, then a six month chemotherapy with ADT trialing 2004. Except for Lupron, I was finished the first week of January 2005. Missed a trip to Vegas three weeks later as I was just too tired. However, six months after completion, I was off to Holland, Germany, France, and Switzerland. The next year I spent two weeks in Mexico City, then two weeks in Holland, Germany, France, and Switzerland. Then six years after completion of the trial I was in Russia fir two weeks. Since the completion of all medication, I spent two weeks in Greece and the Mediterranean Sea...... in between I have been to NYC, Atlantic City five times, New Orleans four times, Vegas twice, Minnesota, and a host of other states most of which were traveling by vehicle or air.
Point is travel and enjoy life if that is what you want to do; just pay attention to what your body tells you. We are not spring chickens anymore....... so slow down....... best wishes in your travels.
