my husband has been in hospital since the 31st of January day that he had kidney transplant!
After a spike in creatinine of 30 valued he had 3 iv steroid treatment, calcium treatment and his Hemoglibin was low in need of a blood transfusion that was done 2 days ago.
After a second biopsy they placed a IV on his neck and he is starting ATG treatment for 8 days.
I dont know what to think no one at the hospital could offer reassurance.
He starts to feel that transplant was a mistake...cant stop crying feeling so hopelless!!
Did someone experimented this after transplant?

I am so sorry that you are upset about things going on with your husbands transplant ,I have had two transplants the first one lasted 15 years and the one I have now is 4 years and I cannot say that I have experienced any problems like that ,surely your consultant should explains what this all means and I know you will be worried Nearly all kidney transplants go through a phase of some sort of rejection at first as my first one did three times and remember they can do wonderful things today so keep your chin up and keep me posted
Sounds like he had an episode of acute rejection or a long graft function delay. However he is receiving the appropriate treatments so please be patient and help him remain calm and optimistic.
