The Good Doctor - NOT good advice!
I just watched the March 2nd episode of the TV show The Good Doctor. There was a potential kidney transplant talked about and a potential live donor. He was only 16, but what the "doctors" told him about being a donor was SO over the top, I don't think ANYONE would want to be a live donor! It was

I want to be fit and healthy for my liver transplant.
Diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 20years ago, diagnosed PBC 9years ago. Now been given the news that I will need a liver transplant in the next two to three years. I am looking for any reading material on how to stay healthy and loose weight before I have to have my transplant.

How long is the life expectancy of a diagnosed lung cancer patient with a 2.5 cm lump in her lung?
I’m currently a junior in highschool and I have a sisters who’s 11. My mom (49) was diagnosed with lung cancer today with a 2.5 cm lump in her lung. I don’t know how long her life expectancy is and which stage she’s in since she has to make another appointment with a specialist. How do I make her comfortable

Has anyone had parathyroid surgery post kidney transplant?
I have hypercalcemia resulting from hyperparathyroidism and was wondering if anyone has had parathyroid surgery. I have been considering surgery but would first love to know others experiences.

Stem Cell Transplant
My doctor says that after a 2nd remission, meaning after ibrutinib and venetoclax have failed that a stem cell transplant is the next option. I have been on IB for 14 months and it has been amazing but I am terrified about doing a stem cell transplant. Can someone share their experiences if you have
