Celebrating the 10th anniversary of my last birthday.
When first diagnosed I was told that I MIGHT survive 10-15 months with the most aggressive treatment available. That was October of 2010. When my birthday came in July of 2011, I sincerely believed I would die within a few months. So I decided to go out in style. I threw myself a big birthday bash

Spinal Fusion-break Identified while being on the Lung Transplant List.
Good evening all, I have been listed on the
Lung
Transplant
List for over 2 1/2 years now. They noticed right at the start of my evaluation that I had the start of osteoporosis which they put down to years of taking prednisolone. Even though I had this they were still happy to list me.

Low Oxygen Levels
On 24 hour oxygen and on
lung
transplant
list. Trying to stay fit to help with the post operative recovery but the slightest activity now makes my SAT’s plummet. Despite using the oxygen, my levels dropped to 55% when I got dressed very slowly this morning.

Is weight loss possible post transplant while on immunosuppressants?
I am almost 4 months post kidney transplant and I have gained over 15 kg. I have been exercising consistently and eating healthy for over 6 weeks now but my weight won’t budge at all. I have read that immunosuppressants can really mess with one’s metabolism and fat burning, and being 49 and likely
