She is now getting more ill and I am determined to keep challenging them on their reasoning for pushing back when

endo- advice wanted
hi all! Recently had an ultrasound and my ovary is attached to my uterus and scarring actually very visible on the scan. I’m waiting to see a specialist - I saw a gp tonight and that was a waste of time as he didn’t know why the appointment had been booked and why I hadn’t received anything for the gynaecologist

Brief history. Latest problems started about 4 years ago when GP told me my problems were’all in my head’ and as far as the surgery goes that’s me labeled. All my problems whilst given superficial testing which has mostly been marked as ‘abnormal , but expected’ and ignored theron in have lead to me

Do I have a hysterectomy?
Hi, I’m 38, with DIE. Luckily I’ve had 3 children. I am waiting for excision surgery and a hysterectomy, with possible bowel surgery. I was happy with the decision, until I had zoladex. The add on hrt, caused my migraines to be more frequent, so I stopped it. Obviously I had all the usual side affects

Robotics on private healthcare
Hi there, Can anyone recommend somewhere offering Da Vinci robotics on private healthcare? I have had ablation via a laparoscopy three years ago because they said excision was not possible, but unfortunately my endo has regrown. I am insured with Aviva and they will only let me have one more surgery

Private hormone tests? If it's not endo then it's hormonal
I saw the gynae a few months ago and still haven't heard about a date for my laparoscopy. I've started thinking that I don't want the lap. I don't want to undergo surgery and have scars on my tummy only for the gynae to not find anything. Gynae said if it's not endo then it's hormonal. I asked my GP

I am undiagnosed but with typical symptoms. I have yet to get bloods done privately as recommended here as my surgery have said they don’t accept those results. Post AVR Op ocular disturbance/double vision
Humm, nearly two weeks post AVR surgery, doing amazingly well other than various bouts of Atrial Fibrillation, subsequently just started on Apixaban, this evening experienced one moment of double vision. It soon corrected its self but a bit disconcerting. May I ask if anyone else had similar experience

nodule in lung
Hi, hope you are all having a good day. I have been told there is a large nodule in my right lung. I saw the thoracic surgeon a month ago and he said the PET scan did not "light up" so the nodule is not growing. I am to have another PET scan in December. I was a smoker but quit 15 years ago. Also,

Hi all 1 week ago I had a touch up RF ablation, I thought I would share my experience. I had my first ablation (a cryo ablation) September 2022. During this first procedure I had all 4 pulmonary veins ablated. At 3 month post ablation, under cardiologist advice I tried to give up the Diltiazem (for

Ablation recovery
Hello everyone, I am currently scheduled for an ablation next week. I only discovered at the pre op that apparently I have flutter as well as paroxysmal AF 😕 The nurse said they will be doing both sides of my heart because of this. I am very worried about the whole thing and I have never had any kind

mom has been intubated for 2 weeks almost
hi guys. My mom is 58 years old and has been intubated for 13 days after a colon resection. She had diverticulitis and was severely malnourished and weak which is what they think started all this. Since being intubated almost two weeks ago she quit moving or doing anything. She had emergency surgery
