She's currently undergoing chemotherapy Carboplatin and Gemcitabine for a reoccurrence that has progressed to her supraclavicular lymph nodes and at the porta hepatis .
She's unfortunately experiencing swelling, increasing pain/discomfort and obvious visible changes to the lymph nodes around her neck.
I'm wondering if any of you have experienced similar disease progression and subsequently received treatment other than chemo for example radiation, cyber knife or surgery or any combination ?
Many thanks

I’m in a similar situation as I am on my first reoccurrence and it spread to my superclavical lymph nodes….and not dotted around various places. I have just got to the end of carbo/gem and half way scan showed a 50% shrinkage. I am hoping to be offered Niraparib afterwards.
I wasn’t offered any other treatment and surgery was not as option.
I have swelling around my neck but fortunately no pain.
The carbo gem was not too bad for me so hopefully your wife will tolerate it and it’ll do its job.
Hi, I was 22 months NED when my CA125 which is a good indicator for me tripled a pet scan revealed and biopsy confirmed a recurrence in my left supraclavicular lymph node a few spots also lit up in my pelvis which an MRI later confirmed scar tissue not a recurrence or I would have had SBRT to the lymph node I had 6 carbo/taxol/keytruda (the Keytruda didn't work) followed by letrozole (didn't work) mid scan and post treatment scan were clear at my 3 month check CA125 started rising again back in the supraclavicular I'm on doxil after 3 the plan is to do another pet if clear get a consultation for SBRT then go on Avastin which I'm a bit scared of. I'm low grade endometroid which from what I read tends to recur in lymph nodes and they can be stubborn mine has never swelled or caused pain can't tell it's there. I've read successful survivor stories of having radiation to this lymph node and continue to be NED no recurrence.
