Worried about my ovaries

I had my first laparoscopy and was treated with ablation in October 2018, and a year later was being hospitalised so frequently when I ovulated that I had Zoladex injections for two months before having another laparoscopy where they found more endometriosis in my pouch of Douglas.

I found some relief after the second surgery, but over the past two years my periods have been getting more and more unbearable to the point I can’t stand up long enough to shower. Over the past 5 months, ovulation has been increasingly painful, I have tugging pain deep inside when I try to walk on the day of my ovulation and it’s only on one side at a time (definitely worse on the left), the pain has become so horrific to the point I’m vomiting every time I move / twist my body. Sex is mostly unbearable due to the deep sharp stabbing pains I feel in pretty much every position, but again the pain is felt mostly on my left.

I’m getting quite worried that my symptoms could mean I have adhesions on my left ovary and I’m really scared about what’s going to happen if it is 😔 I’ve been referred back to gynae and luckily I’m seeing an endo specialist, so I’m hopeful he’s going to be able to help me, but I was wondering if anyone has had similar symptoms especially around ovulation, and could tell me what happened with them?

OK clearly I am not a doctor but I am wondering if while you are waiting to see the specialist your GP could give you something to stop your periods - like taking the pill continuously? Definitely worth having a discussion, maybe they could even ask advice from the endo centre. I am really thinking of the ovulation pain, Certainly your GP should be able to help with improved pain relief. Hope you get some help soon x
