I’m preparing for our next frozen embryo transfer, should start drug protocol next month. It just dawned on me today that I should check if I need any Covid boosters? Anyone know the current advice on this? I had my first covid jab April 2021, 2nd in June 2021 & not had any since. Am I due a booster

Weather contingency planning for first FET this week
Does anyone have any experience of what happens when snow disrupts transfer day?I'm due for my first transfer on Friday and there's snow in the forecast. I'm trying to keep myself together about it and have thought about booking an air BnB near clinic, but don't even know if clinic staff would get there

Final stages of CBD
Hi all My dad is in the final stages of CBD and in fact the Palliative Care Consultant seems to think we have less than 3 months left with him. I am really really struggling with this and can't bear the thought of not having my dad but this illness is the cruellest illness I have ever encountered.

day 6 slow developing blastocysts - any success stories?
hello I’m currently 5dp6dt of a double day 6 frozen embryo transfer. One was 2BB The other is an ‘early blastocyst’ and not able to be graded. Im feeling really down as everything I read says that the likelihood of a live birth/pregnancy is low. Im concerned that they’re both such early stage

Is it normal to experience breast tender _heaviness or painful to touch when you are preparing for embryo transfer
. I am taking 6 tablets a day of progonova for my utrus lining and in day 6 I started to feel so much pain in my breast. Does it mean my prolactin hormonal is raising and this will be a cancelled cycle to transfer . Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you all

2ww starting today. Last chance saloon
Well that's our last frostie transferred today. I believe this is transfer number 5... or it could be 6.. lost count. We have been very fortunate with a successful FET 6 years ago 😊 but always wanted another. So here we are... any else waiting?

newbie again.....warning long post!!
hi I've been on here for some time and not taken the first step to gain control....I've read loads and know what needs to be done but not put into practice. I've been trying to retire gracefully from my work as a podiatrist, the transition has been difficult. I'm coming up to my 69th birthday and

My updated Thyroid Test Results
I did the
low
fat
diet
( due to my partners health issues and to also hopefully bring my ferritin levels down), seems not to have worked. I don't take iron suppliments and try and minimise leafy greens and that seems to have helped bring my ferritin levels down.

RA and Microscopic Colitis
I was diagnosed with RA 5 years ago, however I have recently been diagnosed with Microscopic Colitis too! I have also been tested for Coeliac disease and my blood results came back as 0.3u/ml which was the low end of the reference scale (I believe this result is possibly bordering a low immunoglobulin

New taper to 7mg
I took advice from you and started a
low
carb/high
fat
diet
......stopped the
low
fat
yogurt and reduced the carbs drastically. This seems to have worked as my weight has reduced by nearly a stone and I'm feeling much better for it.

Standard Peak Flow rate and Clenil dose
How relevant is the flow rate to Clenil dosage? I seem to have the same Standard Peak Flow result (420-450) when taking Clenil 200 x2 twice daily as I did taking Clenil 100x2 twice daily. I worry that my dosage is higher than required- any thoughts please?

Peak flow higher in the evening
Hello 👋 My GP has requested we keep a peak flow diary for my 8 year old son as she is quering he has asthma. We are on day 4 now and I've noticed his readings are always lower in the evening. Everything online says they are normally lower in the morning. Has anyone else had this? His morning readings

Warwickshire Clinic recommendations
Hi all, Can anyone recommend a private clinic in the Warwickshire area? What has your experience been like with them? I had my first cycle on NHS at the CRM - part of the UHCW. But looking to go private now so that we can get testing on our embryos before transfer. Previously had two miscarriages
