Strange runny nose
Question, I'm on 2.5mg bisoprolol, 20mg losartan, 25mg artovastatin and 75mg soluble aspirin I also take omeprazole. I've developed this strange runny nose. It's not like a normal runny nose but like water suddenly starts rapidly dripping out. More so when I bend over. Does anyone else experience this

Felodipine and chest pain
I’m 42 and been on losartan for nearly 12 years. This year after a check in my bp I was given 5mg of Felodipine as I was taking the highest dose of losartan. Since then I have been breathless and have chest pains. The doctor ran blood tests and I had an ecg but doesn’t seem to consider the medication

Losartan for BP?
Just wanted to warn anyone taking Losartan for high blood pressure might need to check with your doctor about making a change. My understanding is that it puts you at a higher risk for pneumonia if you get Covid19. (Several TV MD's had mentioned it, so I researched and found some backup on it.) I had

Do something or not?
I don't often post, but would appreciate some thoughts today please, people. I have lupus nephritis and am at home self isolating. I take 200 mgs hydroxychloroquine and 50 mgs losartan a day and I have had several Rituximab infusions, the last being a couple of years ago. I had some sort of virus

Coronavirus drugs: Where we are and what we know
Coronavirus drugs: Where we are and what we know by Amina Khan Medicines designed to treat COVID-19 won't be on pharmacy shelves for months or even years, but thousands of patients are in hospitals and health clinics now. So doctors are looking to drugs that are already approved for treating other diseases

Breathless after ICD/pacemaker
Since my stent in October 2019 & then the ICD 6 weeks later, I have been breathless and had swollen ankles, neither of which I had before. I had my first MOT on my ICD in January and told the technician of my situation. She told me this would be addressed at my next visit in April, but this has now been

New Raynaud’s Diagnosis
Hi All I was diagnosed last week with Raynaud’s having had numbness and pain in my left foot for about 4 weeks. My toes did the colour change thing in front of the doctor and I also saw a consultant the next day who said it was classic Raynaud’s so that seems pretty decisive. I was prescribed Losartan

LOSARTAN
To those of you who have not seen the news on this, there is hope that Losartan might be able to stop the progression of the Corona Virus. I came across this blurb on the internet the other day, so I Google searched Losartan and Corona Virus and this is the article you want to read: https://clinicaltrials.gov

https://bestpractice.bmj.com/topics/en-gb/3000168/emergingtxs See comment re losartan - its interesting because I have read elsewhere that some were worried that it carried a risk in severe cases- anyone else heard any views.
