Had upper right lobectomy and node removal in July 2013
Can anyone tell me if I will be breathless for a long time or will it gradually fade??? I was also told to claim the new PIP by Macmillan. All my forms were received by DWP at beg of August and they sent them to ATOS but I havent heard anything yet. I have to have a face to face assessment but when

For the past 5 days I have been recovering from Right thyroid lobectomy. Where my staples are its swollen and sore. Is this normal.
I am due to have the staples removed later today. There seems to be a lumpy area around my staples is this normal. Also The thyroid that was removed as been sent for tests to see if it was cancerous. I have to wait for 4 weeks. is this normal.

Has anyone else on here had a colectomy or other abdominal surgery and had problems with adhesions on their fallopian tubes?
Was referred for testing, but consultant has refused to test my tubes because my AMH is also low and he says I will need IVF anyway. Have asked for second opinion, but could take weeks for re-referral. Should I just go private? Ovulation is normal and DH's sperm normal. Herbalist says my AMH not that

Pulmonary Fibrosis Patient to Patient
Lost two lobes (Bi
Lobectomy
) and high dose radiotherapy on remaining lobe. I need to talk to real people and give the doctors and consultants a break.

300mg Levothyroxine ?
I had thyroid
lobectomy
2008. Lab sample showed papillary cancer. The aim after operation was to suppress TSH to be undetectable and prevent a cancer on the remaining thyroid.Over 5 years on increasing levothyroxine TSH is now 0.77 but my T4 is way out of range at 46. T3 is 8.

How would I know if MTX is affecting my lungs?
I also have bronchiectasis as a result of lung damage from whooping cough when I was 3 years old and had a partial
lobectomy
(part of lung removed ) when I was 16. I am now 63. I have a productive cough all the time but how would I know the difference from my normal cough and a MTX related cough.

my letter from my endo to gp, this is crap!
she still has a lot of problems swallowing and we discussed whether a right thyroid
lobectomy
might help with these problems, I said that I think there is a good chance that the thyroid nodule may well be contributing but that it it difficult to tell for sure without actually removing it but this of

THE ROY CASTLE GOLD AWARDS
Over the years I have been very fortunate to have survived SCLC in 1993 (chemo and radiotherapy) and then NSCLC in 2007 (
lobectomy
). Hearing my story has helped inspire many others, especially in our support group.

Does anyone have any experience of paraneoplastic syndromes, or on how to raise concerns you stumble across with medical experts?
As a bit of background, My dad was diagnosed with stage 2 nsclc on 20 June and is due to go for a
lobectomy
on 24 July.

Anyone out there ever experienced BRIGHT YELLOW stool with PBC? ( I know a lil gross)
I've had bright yellow stool for almost two months now. Its constant, at least 5 times a day. ( I had a subtotal colectomy so I have alot of movements). I was just curious if anyone else with PBC experienced light color stools, such as yellow? From what I've read its because of the lack of bile salt

Newly diagnosed and needing support.
I am now booked in for a
Lobectomy
next month, but I am beyond shocked as I was originally told by one Dr that as the nodule was non spiculated it was nothing to worry about. I feel as though I am living with barely controlled hysteria and as if my whole life is out of control.
