Hello to everyone
I am booked for a sleeve
lobectomy
on my right lung on 21st October providing the results from this weeks biopsies are ok. I know I'm in good hands, the medical team are excellent and kind and compassionate. It helps. I have a super GP and very supportive family and friends.

Feeling confused
He had a successful
lobectomy
in March and they took some nearby lymph nodes which came back clear. He was advised to have four rounds of adjuvant chemotherapy as a double insurance, just to try to sweep up any stray cells that didn't show up on a scan.

Not sure what to expect
Hi, I had a left diagnostic thyroid
lobectomy
on wed after an 8mth history of a growing and changing cyst. My FNA's look mostly benign but my consultant wasn't happy about the growth and changes in the 2mth between fna's. My TFT's were within normal range but had increased since first test.

Long and possibly boring
I am a life long chronic bronchitic, had a
lobectomy
of the left lung at 18, am a non smoker, fairly fit and active (Steps not included), I was just wondering if anyone else's lung function is really inconsistent at the moment, or should I be going to the Doctors.

Post op left thyroid lobectomy, left with hematoma, looking for advice as to how to resolve (quickly!!!).
4 weeks post op, I had removed left side thyroid as a result of a benign 56g(6cm) tumour, 10 days after op I had a lump (hematoma identified) behind scar and a lot of discomfort, this has improved marginally and doctors/consultant have advised it will take time to heal. Unfortunately not sleeping very

Just wondering
I was diagnosed in 1968 aged 16, had a
lobectomy
of the left lung 2 years later. I have never smoked and other than the cough and wheeziness am very lucky with my general health. My average Lung Function is 170, and my sats are about 94/5.
