I had a left lobectomy last week, so still recovering but doing ok, just don't know anybody who has had this done so fill a bit on my own, not sure what if anything I should be doing xx

hey seen no comment so thought id reply although I don't know much, my endo has advised me to have a right lobectomy for my thyroid nodule, how did it go? x

Hi, I had the same last year no problems, quick recovery, right side maintaining levels.

Hi, I am scheduled to have my left side removed due to a 5cm growth on 17th May. I know of someone in my own town who had the operation at the same hospital back in December and although the operation was 3 1/2 hours, she said it was straight forward and she felt really well. She has no need for medication and having seen how little and neat her scar is I am not so worried now and am looking forward to having this 'lump' removed after first noticing it 2 years ago.
