I attended a two day

transplant
assessment on 22nd May which was hard work but I gave it everything to keep going and do my best. They promised a result on the Friday after by phone.

elevate ALT post transplant
Hi I had my
liver
transplant
6 months ago and have felt fantastic ever since. No issues after
transplant
and blood tests at 5 months showed my
liver
function and kidney function were excellent. Consultant just rung today with blood results at 6 months and my ALT levels are elevated.

Liver transplant advice - missing IVC vein.
However, they informed us that the options available were either a
liver
transplant
or inserting a stent into the veins to improve blood flow, both of which carried a high risk and they were not prepared to go ahead since she is physically well and is able to go about her day to day without any issues

one month post op
I am one month out from my
liver
transplant
, and am still in horrible pain, have lost 40 pounds, of which I did not have to loose, still taking OxyContin regularly, can’t sleep, and can’t eat solid foods. Any suggestions? Feeling absolutely miserable, and NO energy.

My precious daughter
Sadly a
liver
transplant
is not an option for my daughter. She has unfortunately got some serious underlying health issues, which would increase the risks in any further operations on a huge scale, such as a
liver
transplant
.

I got my own last Thursday, waited two and half years and had one faulty call got to the hospital and it wasn’t as we wanted . But it’s been in since Thursday and all good so far 👍🤞. Keeping fingers crossed that it keeps going well, I would like to thank everyone that sent me best wishes. Stay safe

Need a rant
Last week I had some devastating news I have a rare liver condition and now because of the AF and bradycardia I have been told that I have no other options but to have a
liver
transplant
because the AF complicates things I'm really upset and scared I really don't know what to do.

F4: cirrhosis
GI dr said that if treatment didn't work I would be put on a
liver
transplant
list. She then said. "I'm sorry". For years, I was diagnosed with Raynaud's, RA, and Sjogren's diseases. I'm completely lost and feel that I just read my death sentence.

Diagnosis at last! Haemochromotosis?
I've posted a few times on this forum but a bit of backstory - hubby, 43 had sudden onset of upper right quadrant pain last December, has some tests for gallstones, found nothing, immediately stopped drinking (had drunk heavily for around 15 years), and after a lot of back and forward was found to have
