I don't know what to do now?
Back in July, after a routine blood test, my Levo was reduced from 175mg to 150mg because my T4 was too high. I had a further test 7 weeks later and my T4 had gone up slightly. I posted my results on here and was advised to have some private blood test to check on Vits etc. My dear mum became very

Electrolytes and postpartum psychosis
Hey!Recently i read an article, where it was explained that lithium is used as a mood stabilizer due to its capacity to have an impact on ionic in-cell balance and also on transportation of ions of sodium and calcium between cells. And that the imbalances of sodium may be one of the causes of depression

Adcal or not
Sorry I'm unable to cut and paste. A recent letter to a doctor in the newspaper asked about having taken Lansoprazole for a problem can cause bones to thin. Recently diagnosed with advanced Osteoporosis she has been prescribed AA and Adcal. The doctor suggests that calcium carbonate would be better changed

Just gonna lay it out there…been crying all day. Bad depression.
I started Lithium a few days ago and have decided to stop. I was on an incredibly low dose so I’m not too worried about coming off of it but feel so much sadness, anxiety. I don’t know where to turn. I’m the one, if anyone remembers - no big deal, that had a very good friend cut me out of her life right

Bipolar 2 with Anxiety and PTSD
I was diagnosed at 12 with bipolar disorder and just recently this past year with Anxiety and PTSD. I started lithium again at the age of 40. I used to be on lamictal and Wellbutrin. They had put me on Lithium when I was younger and then took me off of it bc I had a “said” heart murmur. This past 2-3

Lithium Orotate: Add to my Stack?
I've been to the ends of Google and DuckDuckGo and the only sciencey stuff I could find on Lithium Orotate that might relate to PD were: Lithium orotate: A superior option for lithium therapy? 2021 https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.1002/brb3.2262 and Potential application of lithium in Parkinson's

Does anyone take Lithium for depression? I am not bipolar but I have been taking Lithium and Mirtizapine for several years now. I had a tox screen at the beginning of the year and was told that at 1 (?) it was too high and I needed it retested. That's been done and my GP reduced my dose and retested

Is anyone else taking rhodiola rosea?
Hubby has been taking rhodiola now for a month, 1 per day for 2 weeks then 2 per day. He is doing very well this winter considering usually winter is when he falls to pieces. He is better than he has been for 5 winters! He is laughing, proactively doing things, and is interested in things. The rhodiola

Calcium supplements - continued
I have been reading the replies to Narwhal with interest, and note that calcium carbonate is not a good idea. I avoid any supplements generally, but I have wondered about taking a little calcium, vitamin D, and Vitamin K. I have just looked at the ones for sale on the Boots website, and found that the
