FT4 risen suddenly while taking T3
Background: I started taking T3 in June 2015 after finding that my fT3 was low in range while my fT4 was at the top; I have always felt best with TSH suppressed. As expected my fT4 fell when T3 was added, to around halfway in the normal range. All has been good since then and I have been adjusting my

Starting the Marty Hinz Amino Acid Protocol. New Dr.
Drove 2 hrs to see the new Dr today. It was well worth it. Finally a doctor that speaks our language, if you know what I mean. He has several patients on the amino acid protocol and they are having success with it. Very encouraging. All were worse than me when they started (my UPDRS is 33 on my worst

No other option
I've never posted something like this or have gone to a support group; but at this point I don't know what else to do. I've been diagnosed with bi-polar and severe anxiety. I have had anxiety and social anxiety for as long as I can remember. I'm on valium, lithium and lamictal. Over the past few months

stage 4 Chronic Kidney Disease
Hello Everyone. I have CKD because I was on lithium for 20 years for bipolar disorder. In 1996, my primary care physician gave me a water pill for high blood pressure. That caused a serious dehydration. I was taken off lithium and given other meds.

Hi all, don't respond much but do read your informative posts. I do have a wonderful neuro-ophthmalogist at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, USA. Doctors can't take the time to tell us what experience has taught all on this board. Diagnosed with GCA with a TAB in January 2015. Started with 60mg

Brand New & Nervous
I have been on
lithium
carbonate
for about a year now, and am more stable than I have ever been. I no longer have huge mood swings, just seasonable stuff. My anxiety ranges from 3-9 every day, there is NO time I am not anxious - 50% of the time it translates into my sleep but sometimes it doesn't.

Can someone please help interpret my test results?
I don't know if this is the right community to ask, but hope someone can help me. I've been receiving vit B12 injections for about 10 weeks 1/week now. My level was 148 (ranges 145-800) I've had a new blood work test done yesterday and this showed: TSH 4,6 (ranges 0,1-4) Free T4: 20 (ranges 9-21)

I dont know where to go from here?
Im new on this site. I am 64. Ive had IBS since my teens. For many years I have combined my food - eating either only proteins together with other proteins or only carbs with only carbs accompanied by fresh veg every day. In the mornings up until 12 midday I have only eaten fruit combined with seeds
