Liothyronine private prescription, should I notify GP and how?
I am just awaiting delivery of my first
Liothyronine
by private prescription and am unsure of the protocol. I presume I should keep my GP in the loop but am unsure. Also, I have moved out of my GP's area but haven't told them and use my son's address in the area for correspondence.

Starting T3 - advice please
This is being reduced to 50mcg with 5mcg of
Liothyronine
twice a day (12 hours apart - so 7:30am and pm?) being added. I currently take my Levo at night - should I continue the same with that? Does this sound OK? I have a feeling I’ve read before about adding it more slowly.

cost of meds wondering to switch to T3 and use Levo again ..advice/experiences please
I’ve contacted Roseway to make an appointment and have asked them this question … can I switch from ERFA to
liothyronine
(T3 spelling 🤔) through them, and take levothyroxine again from my GP. I await their reply. Has anyone here made this switch?

Primarily to present my findings to the endo in the hope I may get
Liothyronine
on the NHS. The result came back saying the TT genotype appears to have normal enzyme and I should manage effectively with T4 mono-therapy.

Dr. Bianco: video from Thyroid Foundation of Canada
He makes the point that L-thyroxine doesn't always manage to result in good fT3 levels and patients need
Liothyronine
. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGlYO_H4Gdc&t=2682s

Success Yesterday! I’ve been prescribed T3! But should I reduce my Levothyroxine?
But I have a question…….I wanted to ask please, do you think that taking the
Liothyronine
will make my FT4 level increase even more? (I’m worried because I’ve read that having a high T4 level is dangerous?

T3 Poor response
The bloods above are from this dosage of T3 My private thyroid dr suggested I try 25mg of levo with 40mg
Liothyronine
(split) I have tried different combinations of NDT and nothing has worked and Levo has never worked in the past so I was sceptical of this.

new results and more questions🙄
my latest test results are based on 50mcg levothyroxine and 15mcg
liothyronine
taken in one dose. she thinks I need to test reverse t3 as although my t3 has finally gone up it isn’t as much as she would expect and also t4 has gone down unexpectedly.

Strange Result
I recently did my thyroid tests.2.1.24 Monitor My Health taking 87.5 mcg levothyroxine, 12.5 mcg
liothyronine
for the last 8 weeks. TSH 0.02 mu/L FT3 4.3 pmol/L 32.43% FT4 18.7 pmol/L 67% Based on these results, I decided that I should be able to make a bigger step in my
liothyronine
to 25 mcg.

6 weeks on T3
I have my first results on being on a trial of T3 for just over 5 weeks, bloods drawn on empty stomach as advised by private endo at 7am Levothyroxine 75mcg taken 7am
Liothyronine
5mcg x 2 taken at 7am and 3pm. T3 still seems a little low, T4 and TSH has gone down.

Adrenal support - early days of T3
Hi I have recently started on
Liothyronine
- followed advice to start slowly and all seems to be going well. I am also on very regular B12 injections. I have a question about supporting adrenal glands.

Liothyronine Thybon-Henning Private Prescriptions
Hi everyone Thought it might be helpful (as there's not a lot on detailed info on the forum having searched) for those who used to get their private T3 (Thybon-Henning) prescriptions from Chemist4U (who are still not filling private prescriptions as of an email from them yesterday) Thought it might

Should I keep the

liothyronine

Thyroid medication changes when starting HRT for perimenopause
I have been self medicating with
liothyronine
and levothyroxine for the past two years or so. Today I started the estrogen patch for perimenopause symptoms, and will also start progesterone in a couple of days.
