Advice Needed
I’ve had hypothyroidism for 20 years +, I take 200mcg Thyroxine and 60mcg
Liothyronine
and have for the 20 years since I was diagnosed. My blood test results have always been similar (usually towards the top of the range, but that’s my normal) Last years blood test was more mid range.

Too much T3? One time. Does it make a difference?
Because of a change of dosage of
liothyronine
from 10 mcg 2 x daily plus 10mcg 1 x daily Mon, Wed, and Fri, To 20mcg 1 x daily and 10mcg 1 x daily, I was given a completely different brand.

GP vs. Endocrinologist
Your practice would continue to issue my levothyroxine prescription and Dr. xxx (my Endo) would prescribe
Liothyronine
(T3) accordingly.” This letter was put on my file, but ignored.

Endo appointment and liothyronine
Hello all, My endocrinologist appointment is coming up soon. I have had the blood test, but typical NHS they only test TSH. My endo said, last time that I spoke to her, which was in June, she said my TSH was coming down and I may or may not, need an increase next appointment. Whilst I have been very

Help with results - what would you do?
Dr decided to reduce Levo and introduce
Liothyronine
. I'll give it a go. Dr had not seen a single T3 result at this point. The blood tests were done a week later, I followed the recommendations from this site.

Hypothyroidism and levothyroxine treatment only inadequate?
It cannot be that rare if so many on here are not tolerating levothyroxine only, and many are self-medicating with
liothyronine
or NDT. Please tell me if she is ill informed, like most of the medical profession regarding hypothyroidism treatment. Any thoughts please?

Billy Kenber has signed. Have you?
Billy Kenber is the Times journalist who put so much into getting the
liothyronine
pricing issues into the news, and the CMA investigation set up.

Shoulder pain and stiffness
I am on 75mcg Levothyroxine and 10mcg
Liothyronine
daily. I am due to see my endocrinologist at the end of December so hopefully will discuss it with her. I have been having regular massages but nothing is really working. Has anyone else been experiencing these issues?

Results of TSH Modification Experiment
I felt so unwell by 2 am Monday that I got up and took a 5 mcg tablet of
Liothyronine
and decided I would go for the blood tests at 9 am. Clearly, another day would have been too much punishment.

3 am protocol for T3, please tell me about it?
Endocrinologist has agreed, at my request, to a substitution of some Levothyroxine for the
Liothyronine
to see if this helps. In the few weeks before the new prescription is issued I would like to try the 3 am protocol to see if that works better for me but I haven't read the books about it.
