Hi, I was wandering if somebody could in box me with where to source Liothyronine? I am currently on T3 20mcg and T4 12 mcg but my TSH is 5 and T3 only 3.2 when I normally run with a TSH of less than 0.5 and a T3 of at least double the above.

On Levothyroxine 100mcg and liothyronine 5mcg I gained 25lbs between Sept 2017 and March 2018. In the beginning of April I had my Endo Appt, she told me my numbers were "normal" and that my weight gain couldn't possibly be from my thyroid (insert eye roll).

I have about four weeks supply of Perrigo liothyronine 5 mcg and about 8 weeks of Perrigo Liothyronine 25mcg. The waiting list to see an endo in my area is 4 to 6 months. I can't see my GP switching me to a different form of lio tablet when he wouldn't change manufacturer last time.

Can anyone help me source reputable liothyronine T3 - Cytomel or other brand? I have very poor conversion rate and want to recommend it to my GP.

I am not asking for myself, i'm asking for a friend, who is in desparate need of a supply of Liothyronine.

Hi folks Following on from my post last week I need to explore using either T3 (probably the first option as that's what I was discussing with my endo) or NDT. What's are they like? Pros and cons? How would i get hold of them? What do I need to do? I am fretting a bit as I don't know what to do. I believe

I was on 100 levothyroxine and 18 liothyronine until a week ago when I swapped some (25) levothyroxine for 6.25 liothyronine.

Following recent bloods my private Endocrinologist wants to increase my thyroxine and lower my liothyronine. I don't agree with this and want to stay on present dose but my new prescription want be enough. Could people please inbox where I can source my own T3 medication.

I'm now considering trying T4+T3 combination therapy, but with the latest Government guidelines my GP can't prescribe liothyronine to me. I'm on a waiting list to see a new Endo, but have a six month wait. So I'd like to purchase some myself and see how I respond in the next 6 months.

Hi for the last year i have had swollen ankles and also painfull, been to gp done blood test on heart/liver/kidney.all came back normal, i currently take 75mg lethothyroxine and 20mcg of liothyronine my bloods all came back normal but not had chance to chat with gp about my results because we are in

After look at my most recent bloods my Endo has advised that I reduced my liothyronine and increase my Levothyroxine. I'm confused, why would he recommend reducing my T3 meds when it's so low.

I was taking Levothyroxine 125mcg and my blood test results were: FT3 3.8 (3.1-6.8) TSH 1.72 (0.27-4.20) FT4 16.4 (11.0-22.0) I changed to Levothyroxine 75mcg and Liothyronine 20mcg and after 6 weeks my blood test results were: FT3 4.5 (3.1-6.8) TSH 0.38 (0.27-4.20) FT4 11.3 (11.0-22.0) I am so tired

Now i have a question: I'm on 100mg Levothyroxine daily, so how much of Dithyron ( 1 tablet which contains levothryoxine sodium 50ug liothyronine sodium 12.5ug) i should take to be equival on 100mg Levothyroxine? i'm very grateful for every advice! Thank you!

After 20 years my GP has refused to continue prescribing Liothyronine. The endo who originally prescribed it has since retired and the endo unit told my doctor that they won't prescribe it either.

The label on the pot says liothyronine sodium ( tri-iodothyronine) 20 micrograms tablets. I think they are Mercury pharma. They do seem to be giving me a lot of heartburn/chest pressure. Wondering if there is an alternative or if anyone knows of a way to keep the pain at bay.
