Has anyone on
liothyronine
and levothyroxine stopped the lio and increased the levo? I am on 100 mcg levo and 5 lio (2x a day) and have both hypo and hyperthyroid symptoms. My TSH continues to be <.02. I tried going to 10 lio twice a day and felt hyperthyroid (shaking hands and anxiety).

Is NDT better absorbed than thyroxine/liothyronine combo?
Are there any articles on the subject of absorption differences between NDT and thyroxine/
liothyronine
? I am reviewing my NDT blood test results against my levo/combined T3 and T4 results. The difference is astonishing.

Confused
I asked if I could go on a low dose trial of
Liothyronine
, but he said there was no need for that. I have averaged out my FT3% over the last 2 years and it is 51%, (which include a couple of spikes at around 80%). I do have a bar chart of all results over the last 2 years.

Test results: what is going on? Longish post and history
Even when I was not taking
liothyronine
, TSH was low. I can't attribute the low TSH to
liothyronine
when it was low like this with only thyroxine. [u]
Am I just not absorbing thyroxine the way I used to?

THYROID HORMONE RESISTANCE 🤔
A subsequent ultrasound scan showed a normal thyroid gland with some nonspecific nodules PCR amplification of the THRB gene exons showed a heterozygous missense mutation, the recommendation was to resume thyroid hormone replacement with
liothyronine
10mg twice a day along with levothyroxin 75mg, unfortunately

types of liothyronine
I'm prescribed
liothyronine
on the NHS, but recently I've been exhausted. I've gone back to the stuff I bought and guess what - at the same dose I'm great again. Has anyone ever had this happen before?

I'm lost - no idea what I should do
I have reached
Liothyronine
dose 60 mcg daily = 20 mcg x 3 daily. I have been on Teva because excipients in other brands caused me problems. I have a lot of other problems to consider. I have been trying to get a shoulder replacement operation for over 3 years.

Generic Cytomel
Been taking generic
liothyronine
made by "Northstar," and feel hypo symptoms coming back, big time. Before this "Northstar" generic I was taking some other generic and felt okay. Picked up a new RX today, which is brand name cytomel to test my theory but not without a huge cost increase !

hello, I am a 45-year-old female with congenital hypothyroidism. I have been on levothyroxine my whole life. For the last 10 years or so it hasn’t worked. My life is passing me by, I am sleeping most of the day, in constant joint pain and suffering from headaches. I need to try another way so if you

Latest blood results
I'm currently on 20mg of T3
Liothyronine
in the morning and 100mg of T4 Levothyroxine in the evening and have been for the last 3 or so years with no real dramas. My TSH has been pretty static for the last 3 years at 0.03 - 0.05 with my free T3 & T4 levels being OK, in the mid range.

About to start T3 trial, does this sound ok as a starter dose? Bit nervous about it all!
Anyway endo has agreed for me to trial T3
liothyronine
for 3 months. Hard to source and expensive but i really want to try it as my T3 always low so suspect I don’t convert well.
