Hey all, I am new to this forum. I have had a lot of health issues over the last 4 years with my heart. During a PET scan of the heart the tests showed a "hot spot" on my ovary. The SUV is 3.9, the mass is on a 3.5cm ovarian cyst and is 1.5 cm soft tissue. I also had a CT back in 2020 that revealed

On treating micro-metastatic disease
I watched a video posted by PCRI recently on YouTube. In the video entitled "Treating micro-metastatic disease", Dr Mark Scholz mentioned that undergoing one year of ADT is sufficient post radiation. Thereafter just monitor the PSA for any rise, and use PSMA PET scan to locate any cancer and to radiate

Colon cancer after CLL diagnosis
Things were going so well. At 63 and while living in France for a work contract, my husband, who already has HF low EF (which I managed to improve recently to an EF of 43%) and who has always been in excellent shape with diet and physical exercise, was diagnosed with CLL in the spring of 2023 . We

Recurrence?im scared
I don't know where to start because I'm scared to death. I already made a post about my situation but I need to talk more about it with people who understand my situation. My mother, my beloved mother... my reason for living. In 2020 she underwent surgery for stage one seromucinous adenocarcinoma

I had my 2cd thoracentesis. It was more painful and for a very long time. They did drain a little more 950 ml. I am waiting for a thoracic surgery appointment. We will discuss possible placement of a pleural catheter for drainage, possible pleurodesis. And something new: turns out a lot of the chest

Lowered CA125 and a nugget of hope 🙏
After 2 chemo sessions of carbo & taxol plus Avastin, my blood test level has reduced from 750 to 586 which is the first positive news I have received since diagnosis mid December 👏 it has given me a huge boost! My CT scan is Tuesday 20 Feb to see if my huge mass has shrunk enough for surgery, if so

Gemcitabine and Avastin (no Carbo)
Hi everyone! For my mom's second recurrence, the doctor suggested Gemcitabine and Avastin without Carbo, as she got kidney issues and potential liver mets with the last regimen with Carbo+Caelyx. Has anyone used Gem and Avastin without Carbo? Was it effective? Did you have any side effects? Thank
