pet scan result ?? Meaning?

There is tracer uptake within both lobes of the thyroid, left significantly more than the right. The high-grade tracer uptake within the left lobe of thyroid corresponds to a 19 mm nodule.

Physiological brown fat within bilateral neck, supraclavicular fossa and mediastinum. Physiological tracer uptake within the abdominal viscera.

No concerning metabolically active bone/bone marrow lesions. Tracer distribution elsewhere is physiological.
